I have one HP Proliant DL320 G5p, where for some reason, the AHCI mode is not enabled. According to server specs, it should have AHCI/NCQ capability, but ata_piix module gets loaded during bootup, not ahci module. Hi, I seem to have a problem with chanisavail and the call limits on sip phones(incoming and outgoing) The problem seems to be that chanisavail when trying create to create channels and hanging them up afterwards screw up the current usage limit on the phones. Example with chanisavail: Phone A calls voicemail (usage now 1) Phone B tries to call Phone A and uses ChanIsAvail in the dialplan.

Anyone ever experience noise instead of a dial tone. We are using a Digium TE410P and 2 units of Rhino FXO & FXS Channel Bank. Everything works well when they are freshly turned on or rebooted, but after a while there's only noise can be heard instead of dial tone. Does this have anything to do with the timing configuration? Where is this time is generated from, is it from the TE410P card?

I am trying to install on a DL320 proliant. The disk is not being recognized. It fails when setting up disk with "no devices" found. I dont get an sda or cciss either one. I tried to disable the on board smart array controller? That didnt seem to make a difference. Is there something special I need to do? Thanks, jerry

Hi gang! I'm using Centos 4.4 at work on a HP Proliant DL320 G2, which has a Hypterthreaded Pentium IV CPU. I used to use RHEL WS 2.1 on it, and RH installed and used the SMP kernel. Centos 4.4 did NOT install the SMP kernel. Is there some reason why I should NOT install it myself? I.e., some reason why an SMP kernel shouldn't be used on such a machine? I totally agree with Luc Boudreau about this problem. On modern branded server they ALL use Broadcom chipset... I must admit that: a) lot of people are experiencing the problem but can tolerate it or b) someone already experienced this problem and solved it Lets'' approach the problem pragmatically... just start with a survey on the list. ... hope we solve this issue soon.
