SMS & Asterisk
Hi all! I am intrested in the following scheme
My mobile phone -> SMS to SOMETHING -> Redirect to FWD number -> FDW
redirect to my * -> My * doing smtg
There are companies like calluk.com that provide DIDs for free, but
they do not support SMS.
In http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+cmd+Sms they say

RODC-Connection to more than one file
Hallo everyone!
Has anyone an idee to get out data of more than one Excel-file via RODBC
with one single sqlQuery-command? The RODBC-manual shows how the sql command
shoot run, but every time I try, I got an error, that the ODBC-connection to
one of the files was not successful. If I make a sqlQuery for only one file
(e. g. in DatAllg.XLS without variables from DatBev.XLS / b. ...), the

strange behavior when reading csv - line wraps
Dear All,
I am observing a strange behavior and searching the archives and help
pages didn't help much.
I have a csv with a variable number of fields in each line.
I use
dataPoints <- read.csv(inputFile, head=FALSE, sep=";",fill =TRUE);
to read it in, and it works. But - some lines are long and 'wrap', or
split and continue on the next line. So when I check the dim of

Scratch that last comment. The kernel code I have now is identical to what
I posted. Sorry for the misinformation.

[Bridge] ebtables target to disable an interface
I would like to set up an ACL for an ethernet port using ebtables rules, and
if a security violation occurs, to physically disable the port (i.e.
whatever "ifconfig down" does). I did not see such a feature in the
ebtables man page. Does this exist anywhere, or do I have to create a new
extension for it?

[Bridge] Two entries in forwarding database
I'm debugging a strange problem of noncommunication between two devices.
The test configuration is also strange, and involves loops. Things
magically start working when I run tcpdump to put the bridge interface into
promiscuous mode. I also noticed this in the output of brctl showmacs.

I'm truly sorry, but I get paid to work with 2.4. My employer understands
the value of giving back to the open source community, and this is what we
have at the moment. Someone else is going to have to

Failed to verify incoming ticket!
Hello,
a few people asked about this problem here, but up to now I have not seen a solution.
System:
fresh installed Debian Woody with backported packages from backports.org, nothing else,
only samba3 running. System ist intended as replacement for our old windows-fileserver.
Situation:
after installation and configuration all worked well, accessing shares works without
password-checking.

NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE on auth to a win NT4-server
Hello,
after long searching in the docs, the web and my Samba-books
I have to ask here.
I followed exact the steps described in the book: "samba-3 by example" up to chapter 5.
What kind of trouble indicates this errormessage after trying this:
server:# smbclient //domain/SHARE -U user -d 2
Password:
session setup failed: NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE

It would be nice if one of the list moms would immediately unsubscribe
AND PERMANENTLY BAN idiots who use braindead autoreply filters.
This should be official list policy for ALL email lists...

Pavel, you may be interested in my work on Cisco HDLC bridging:

I have used it with the bridge driver (in 2.4) without any problems (yet
;)), and I am sure Krzysztof Halasa, the HDLC maintainer, would be thrilled
if you managed to port it to a recent version of the kernel and make it a
compile-time option.
Oh, it also

Cupsprinter over samba won't work for w2k clients
Hallo!
I installed Samba 3.0.1 on Deb Woody 3.0 with Cups 1.1.19 and joined to an
NT4 Domain without problems, after solving the "Umlaut" problem.
Unfortunately the System was installed in german...
I read a lot in the Samba HowtoCollection and installed the printer
following to it step by step. Added the printer driver via APW, then
connected from the Client and changed some
