[LLVMdev] Unwinds Gone Wild

Just for another voice in here. 'unwind' and its kin would also be
useful for me, especially since this is on platforms without GCC (nor
is GCC used in any way in any step anywhere).
Why does it generate GCC only constructs anyway, that does not sound
very much like the multi-platform that

new CentOS 5 as DNS server
Hi folks,
As a breather from the
"thread-now-wider-than-my-headers-window-in-thunderbird" conversation
re: mixing repos, I have a question regarding a machine I'm about to put
online. :)
I run a web hosting company and my secondary (primary to the world) DNS
box died from a massive rootkit/hack last night. It was running an old
Slackware 9.1 installation and I will be completely

[LLVMdev] Unwinds Gone Wild
I guess Duncan's answer in this thread is the best answer to give:
<<Once that [The exception handling stuff needed by llvm-gcc] was done I guess everyone took a breather and kind of forgot about unwind>>
So yes, ultimately, unwind will be supported and clang/llvm should provide its own unwinding runtime.
Patches welcome :)
Cheers,
Nicolas

choice of processors
Hi there
I am moving into a production environment. I will mostly be using Meetme,
with Ztdummy for timing. I have a question on which of 2 processor setups is
favourable.
I have the choice between Dual 2.8GHz Xeon Processors and a single Pentium 4
3.06GHz Processor. These will cost me exactly the same amount.
Would one of these processor setups be favourable, both in terms of
performance and

Mixing portrait/landscape in a postscript file
Dear list,
I'm stuck with a little graphical problem. I'm generating several
lattice plots which are printed in a single postcript device opened by

syslinux 2.06, won't boot => kernel size pb?
Hi,
I'm currently trying to build up a booting usbstick. works fine with syslinux. However I have some troubles putting my own kernel image (bzImage) instead of that of a distribution (i.e. already compiled). The only difference I noticed is that the "pre-compiled" kernel is about 1.4M big whereas mine 1.5M. The Syslinux Homepage confirm that "this version [...] can now handle

Problem with strings in Delphi Program
Hello,
I tried to run a program written in Delphi in wine and it ran quite
perfectly, but sadly there was one important detail that made using it
impossible...
It seems that wine has a problem with the text inputs (edits). They are
"string" datatypes (8 bit ansi string), and not null terminated.
The problem was showing itself e.g. at the login form of the program.
The password I

Prototype is spamming my arrays!
Hi all, when I want to interate through an array, all those pesky Prototype functions get in my way!
When I do this:
---------------------
r="";
for(x in new Array()) {
r+="var: "+x+", val: "+ (new Array())[x]+"\n";
}
alert(r);
---------------------
I get a giant alert window with loads of functions printed out.
Is this a bug, or is there a better way to

Polycom SoundStation IP 6000 does not register
sorry... typo....
the problematic phone has the 192.168.0.13
the asterisk has 192.168.1.211
when i connect a snom phone on the cable that was in the soundstation
6000 before and configure the
phone to use 192.168.0.13 it does register on the asterisk via 5060/UDP...
it would be helpful if someone, that has a running soundstation ip 6000
could send the configuration... :-/

2 ISQs
Hello,
I tried to find the answer to my problem already but
it is a specialised one I think because nothing was
found.
I previously have a ISP who was very fast ("extreme
speed" service from Cable Modem) but that blocked
SMTP port and some other for poor non-commercial
users... And it gives dynamic addresses so no DNS
at home without tricks...
So I went to another

NaN sanity check not present in tree.
Hi, I'm still Yves.
This other fix
<https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromium/src/+/1061499/> never
made it to opus repository.
It seems safe and sane enough to be applied to opus master branch.
What do you think?

drawing ellipses
Hello again,
First I want to thank all the people who answered my question about line
width in graphs. I promise I will learn the 'par' help page by heart for
the end of the month !
I now want to trace some ellipses to emphasize groups of data. I found how
to trace circles with 'symbols()', but no ellipse. I'm planning on writing

I am in need of a "special" asterisk conference room with the following

- the callers must not hear any other caller, only the moderator
- the moderator must be able to mute and unmute any caller at any time
- the moderator must be able to talk to all callers or to a specific caller.
