queueing question
I'm trying to set up queueing on my system and for the most part it works
fine.
However, I'm trying to give the user the ability to break out of the queue.
Putting the "H" option into queue() doesn't seem to work. That seems to hang
up from the extension that was being dialed and then after the delay start
ringing them again.

[PATCH net V2] vhost: correctly remove wait queue during poll failure
We tried to remove vq poll from wait queue, but do not check whether
or not it was in a list before. This will lead double free. Fixing
this by switching to use vhost_poll_stop() which zeros poll->wqh after
removing poll from waitqueue to make sure it won't be freed twice.

queue peridiodic-announce-frequency
Hello group,
I tried a lot to enlarge the frequency (i.e. more announces, low wait
between). according to config, every 30 seconds the announcement should
take place. In fact, the first periodic announce is done after 2
minutes?
What is my fault?
Thank you

Call queues for phone operator
Hi.
I was wondering how can I make incoming calls to wait if the phone
operator is busy. I've 8 incoming lines, with 30 extensions.
What I need is if the operator is busy with call nr #1 , the new
incoming call waits until the op. is free.
Looking into app_queue seems the way to go.
So I want to ask if I'm right or wrong:
I set up only a queue , is to say operatorq, where

how does "wrapuptime" work in queue.conf
Hi list,
I'd like to have the callers to listen to the advertisement (music on
hold) before the agents answer them. So, I have wrapuptime=10 in
queue.conf, but the call still goes straight to the agents without
delay.
Here's my queue.conf:
[general]
persistentmembers = yes
[738]
musiconhold = empty
;musiconhold = default
;announce = q-738
;strategy = ringall
strategy = rrmemory

Queue() with H option
Has anyone used the H option for Queue() with Callback queues? I want
customers in my queues to be able to jump out to voicemail when they get
tired of waiting, but in my setup when I pretend to be a customer and
press '*' [when I am waiting in the queue] I see the message 'User hit *
to disconnect call.' but then just jump out to the outer loop where
queued callers wait to

Queue Questions
I am having a problem with the Call Queue Feature.
If I let a user into the Queue prior to an agent being available for
them to take the call, they experience the following:
1) they hear that they are the first in line
2) when the agent finally logs in (the caller on hold in the
queue is sent to the users phone)
3) the AGENT is still in the login phase hearing that they are
"successfully

CallerID of calls FROM queue
Hi to all,
I have a question about the callerid (msn number) off calls comming FROM
a queue.
This is my setup:
- ISDN using zap (zaphfc)
- Incomming calls arrive in a queue
- One of the members of the queue is my cell phone... member =>
Zap/g1/XXX73XX19 (X to protect my privacy ;-))
The problem is the call from the queue to my cell phone. In a dailplan i
can set the outgoing msn using

Fwd: Re: Help with winbugs code
Hi folks,
I'm forwarding this to the list as my email to nita was about getting
her code to the list. Additionally, I'm running Linux and have no
experience with WinBUGS.

iteration scheme
Dear friends.
On p 95 in 3. ed. MASS a zero-truncated Poisson distribution is analyzed. I
understand the probability distribution and expected mean. The Newton
iteration scheme is
Lam(m+1)=Lam(m)-[Lam(m)-Ybar(1-exp(-Lam(m))]/[1-Ybar*exp(-Lam(m)], and I
suppose the latter part should be f(Lam(m))/f ' (Lam(m)) and f(Lam(m)) is
Lam(m)/(1-exp(-Lam(m)), right ? But then
f ' (Lam(m)) is

Problem installing Rmpi with lam on SGI SLES9
Hi,
I've been trying here to install Rmpi on an SGI IA-64 machine with 64
processors, running SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 9, R 2.4.0 and
lam-mpi 7.1.3. While I've read of similar problems on this list, I
think I've got an entirely new set of error messages to contribute
(see below). I'm not sure what the actual error is and what the @gprel
relocation message is about. Any help

Rcpp too good to be true?
Hello all,
I've been working on a package to do various things related to the
Conway-Maxwell-Poisson distribution and wanted to be able to make fast
random draws from the distribution. My R code was running quite slow so I
decided to give Rcpp a bash. I had used it before but only for extremely
basic stuff and always using inline. This time I decided to give making a
proper package a go.

Rmpi on Fedora 8
A yum update to lam 7.1.4 (from 7.1.2) broke Rmpi for me this last week
and quite a few changes were needed to repair this, so I'm reporting here
in case it helps others. This was an x86_64 system - adjust 'lib64'
suitably for 32-bit systems.
There seems to me to be major organizational changes for a 'patchlevel'
update to a setup that previously worked out of the box.

I can also confirm that the latest https://hub.docker.com/_/r-base has the
correct behaviour.

MASS::boxcox "object not found"
Hi there,
I wrote a function that wraps MASS::boxcox as:
bc <- function(vec) {
lam <- boxcox(lm(vec ~ 1))
lam <- lam$x[which.max(lam$y)]
(vec^lam - 1)/lam
}
When I invoke it as:
> x <- runif(20)
> bc(x)
Error in eval(predvars, data, env) : object 'vec' not found
I have googled, and rewrote the above function as:
bc <- function(vec) {
