Hi Folks, I'm trying to send CallerID Name information out to the PSTN via a PRI with Bell Canada with no success. With inbound calls (originating from the PSTN) CNAM is received successfully, and we've not had any similar problems with other Telco PRIs, so I'm stumped.

Nortel/Bell Canada Vista-350 ADSI
Hi Everyone, I've been in contact with a few members off list about this, and I still can't figure out what to do (aside from buying a more current ADSI compatibile screenphone). The problem is that I have a Locked Nortel Vista-350 phone and I cannot update the ADSI scripts. I have used the reset time/date trick, and then was able to partially upload the ADSI information to the

Large directory performance
We have been struggling with our Lustre performance for some time now especially with large directories. I recently did some informal benchmarking (on a live system so I know results are not scientifically valid) and noticed a huge drop in performance of reads(stat operations) past 20k files in a single directory. I''m using bonnie++, disabling IO testing (-s 0) and just creating, reading,

Coloring Canada provinces (package maps?)
Dear R'ers, I am wondering what is the smallest geographicterritorial unit available for formatting in Canada. Provinces? I know that in the US it is the county so that I can color US counties any way I want, for example: ### Example for coloring US counties ### Creating an ARTIFICIAL criterion for coloring US counties: library(maps) allcounties<-data.frame(county=map('county',

2.6.0 bcmxcp_usb recovery question
Greetings, The way that bcmxcp_usb reacts to and recovers from a USB cable unplug-plug appears to have changed significantly between 2.4.1 and 2.6.0. While I can see some improvements, bcmxcp_usb 2.6.0 does not appear to handle a USB cable unplug-plug correctly. Does anyone know if this has been fixed in subsequent releases? Here are the details. When the USB cable between my server and my

[OT] Canada on Rails by ferry?
Hey y''all, Are any folks planning on taking the ferry from Seattle to Vancouver (via Victoria)? I''ve never done it before so I have no idea how much of an adventure it is. Flights are a $100+ less to Seattle than Vancouver so the price works out the same or a bit less. My plan is to fly to Seattle (from Savannah, GA) on Tuesday to catch the early ferry on Wednesday

setting the device queue_depth
Hi, Due to limitations of our Storage we need to set the device queue_depth to 4. I did this with a script that basically does this: echo 4 > /sys/block/sdft/device/queue_depth. But after a few minutes it starts to grow until it reaches 32 again. What could cause that behavior? Furthermore the system doesn' t load my qlogic options. I have set them to: cat /etc/modprobe.d/qlogic.conf

Canada PRI order -- anybody willing to help?
Hi: I'm doing my first PRI order for a client in Western Canada, and I have the initial setup questionnaire in front of me. It has about 25 questions on it. Some of it I understand, most of it I don't. If there are any Canadian list members out there who have ordered PRI recently and who are willing to help illuminate me, I'd be most grateful. If you've ordered from Telus,
