zaptel config
Hi,
Sorry, in my last mail I wrote "wcfxs" instead of what I actually used, "wcfxo." I just got two digium x100p clones and installed asterisk on fedora
core 2 which took some tweaking. After getting asterisk up I installed
the zaptel stuff - then modprobed zaptel, wcfxo,
which worked fine. ztcfg is showing two channels configured, but when I

Problems installing Zaptel
Hi,
I am new to asterisk.
I have downloaded Asterisk and Zaptel from the cvs root.
I am installing them on Mepis with linux-2.6.7
Whenever I try to do "make" in the zaptel directory, I get the following
errors.
make -C /lib/modules/`uname -r` /build SUBDIRS=/usr/src/zaptel modules

x100p won't answer
Hi,
I just got two digium x100p clones and installed asterisk on fedora
core 2 which took some tweaking. After getting asterisk up I installed
the zaptel stuff - then modprobed zaptel, wcfxs (for the fxo cards),
which worked fine. ztcfg is showing two channels configured, but when I
start asterisk and do show channels, i see no active channels.

digitnetworks card issues?
Hi,
I've purchased two x100p clones, and when I try accessing a line
from asterisk with something like this:
exten => _1NXXNXXXXXX,1,Dial(Zap/2/{$EXTEN})
(is that only supposed to put you on channel 2 or actually dial the #
for you?)
but I first hear noise, then a dial tone, but as soon as I start dialing
numbers I get feedback and noise, and the call doesn't go through.

international caller id support
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knows where i can find out the standards
used by telco's in different countries... and how to configure asterisk
to support them. Secondly, whenever i try Dialing a zap channel, all i
get is no sound on the phone source, and noise on the destination line.
thanks

Installed ztdummy, Asterisk doesnt work anymore
Hi
Since Im using the mISDN drivers and no zaptel stuff, I had to install
ztdummy to get MeetMe to work. Well, that was the plan. Now, after getting
the latest zaptel version over CVS (Im using Kernel 2.6), uncommenting all
the modules except ztdummy in zaptel.sysconfig file and compiling this by
"make", "make install" and "make linux26", I rebooted and

TE110p and pri_cpe signalling not recognized
Hi guys,
I've been installing and configuring a TE110p card. The compile and
install went very well. I'm using this on FC4 and I compile with
linux26 as well checked I on the udev configs.
zttool and ztcfg both indicate that the card is ready.
But when I try to "load chan_zap.so" then I get the following

Hi,
I'm trying to dial out on a vonage line connected to a zap channel
using stuff like:
exten => 200,1,Dial(Zap/2/${EXTEN})
but it doesn't work - when i dial in the extension, i can see on a phone
connected to the same line that it's gone active - but there's no
dialtone. also tried adding a wait period before accessing the line and

dunnett test questions
Hi,
I've got a data set with a control group and a number of experimental
groups, that have unequal sample sizes, and am measuring the number of
people in each that respond yes or no. I'd like to use a dunnett test in
R, where the syntax is supposed to be like:
library(multcomp)
test.dunnett=glht(anova_results,linfct=mcp(method="Dunnett"))
confint(test.dunnett)

Zaptel modules load, but Asterisk fails at startup
I'm running Asterisk on a Gentoo box with the Zaptel 1.2.1 drivers.
If I boot the machine without having the wcfxs module autoload, then
install the module with modprobe, asterisk works just fine.
If I boot the machine and autoload the wcfxs module, the module loads fine:

voicemail email problem
Hi,
I just setup two voicemail boxes - but after they record the wav
file, they don't seem to email it even though i have the correct format
in my voicemail.conf file. Aterisk doesn't give me any feedback
besides the recording of the voip file... and then stays there.
Secondly, I can't get the Playback() function to work.
Thanks,

Followed the "instructions" on voip-info.org regardinging fedora FC2,
making Zaptel seems to work fine, however when I modprobe I get this. It
looks like a version mismatch somehow. Ideas? If this ooc, sorry first
post here :-)

incoming zaptel calls fail
Using the latest SVN of zaptel and asterisk, I can no longer receive
incoming analog calls. The caller just hears it ringing but Asterisk
doesn't pick up.
I am seeing these error messages:

Problems with zaptel.conf
Hello.
I am new to Asterisk but I have been reading like for a month all de
documentation and tutorials that i have found. Most of them from de
voip-info.org. Recently I set up an Asterisk server based on Debian
'Sarge' 3.1.
Everthing was looking fine. I even locate an old modem that would work
like a X100P Clone (an Ambient MD3200) and after compiling and
installing zaptel it is

Zaptel on Suse 9.0
Hi,
I have two WCT100P cards installed on a suse 9.0 box. Installation
for Zaptel complains of some unresolved dependencies. The zaptel and
wct1xxp modules load without any errors. ztcfg give no problems.
The problem is when I start asterisk I get the following error and
asterisk shuts down
