Segmentation Fault after Digitnetwork X100P install
I've just installed a Digitnetworks X100P clone in my * server and run
the install script for the voicepet-single-x100p tarball. The install
appeared to run OK with modprobe wcfxo successful and the ztcfg
reporting "Channel 01: FXS Kewlstart (Default) (Slaves: 01)".
When I try to start * though I get a segmentation fault after loading
res_features.so. I discovered that the

E1 card for Asterisk
Hello Folks,
I'm trying to decide here between a few cards for connecting an Asterisk box to a
single E1 channel (either PRI or R2 signaling):
- Digium E100P: has been replaced by the TE110P below, but can still be had at
places like digitnetworks.com for $475, and I guess there's always a place for
good-olde-obsolete cards in the world as long as they work :-)
- Digium TE110P:

Learn To build IVR
Dear All.
I'm very new to CT, but attracted by asterisk.
I plan to start learn to build IVR, based on asterisk.
Do I need FXO/FXS card to start building simple IVR box ?
Can I use OEM X100P - FXO PCI Card ( http://www.digitnetworks.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=28 ) to start build an IVR box ?
What is the cheapest FXO PCI card that can use with asterisk to build my first IVR box ?

Help Configuring TDM04B
Hi:
I had an fxo card from Digitnetworks and it was
working fine on my Asterisk box. I then replaced it
with TDM04B. I changed the zaptel and zapata to
include the four channels. When I run ztcfg, I get
configuration errors:
Channel map:
Channel 01: FXS Kewlstart (Default) (Slaves: 01)
Channel 02: FXS Kewlstart (Default) (Slaves: 02)

oem x100p undefined symbol ast_get_txt
I am putting together my first *. I had it running with two other pc's
running xlite and setup voicemail and a couple of menus and submenus and had
that running well. I had order a couple of oem x100p cards from
digitnetworks.
I installed them as they said with their voicepet2.2.zip drivers and did the
modprobe on zaptel and wcfxo and then ran ztcfg -vv and got this:

Newbie X100P question
Hello,
I just bought a X100P from digitnetworks.
It is supposed to be a FXO card, but there are 2 rj-11 plug on the card.
One is labelled "phone" and the other "pstn". When i plug the "pstn" on
the wall and the "phone" on my analog phone, everything (incoming and
outgoing calls) works like before (without asterisk).
AFAIU, i should have an FXS card in my

meetme application
Hi there,
I know this question is kind of stupid. But, I don't know anywhere
else to ask. I've received some answers when I asked about the need of having
a zaptel interface to make the meetme application work, that said that it was
better to have a real hardware then the zaptelrtc software modules.
So, my question is, would any of the following cards work with the meetme

digitnetworks card issues?
Hi,
I've purchased two x100p clones, and when I try accessing a line
from asterisk with something like this:
exten => _1NXXNXXXXXX,1,Dial(Zap/2/{$EXTEN})
(is that only supposed to put you on channel 2 or actually dial the #
for you?)
but I first hear noise, then a dial tone, but as soon as I start dialing
numbers I get feedback and noise, and the call doesn't go through.

PHP upgrade from 4.3.9 to 4.4.2 or 5.x
Sorry - noob-ish question..
I have been having problems on a CentOS 4.2 server following an upgrade to
the latest version of SugarCRM (segfaults in Apache and some functions not
working). Someone has just posted in the SugarCRM forums that they had
exactly the same problems on CentOS 4.2 and they fixed them by upgrading
from PHP 4.3.9 to 5.0.5.
Being a more cautious chap, I'd like to try an

ifconfig hw ether and -arp
Hi,
Just thought I'd mention that I spent a while battling with tinc today.
I had quite a weird behaviour - in routing mode, tinc would come up fine
on both hosts, but pinging hosta from hostb wouldn't work until hosta
pinged hostb.
I've used an earlier version of tinc before in a different environment
with no problems, and vaguely remembered a more complicated tinc-up
script, so I

Theora and WeBM support in Firefox and Opera
I did some tests:
### Theora support in Firefox 3.7a (missnamed as "Minefield"):
Same as since 3.5 (plays, no controls if Javascript off, no thorough
retest of buffering issues).

Mutually assured minefields.
The specific standards process used to develop the MPEG codecs
creates patent minefields that royalty-free codecs don't generally
face. Because many knowledgeable people have heard of the problems
faced by these patent-soup standards, they may extrapolate these risk
to codecs developed under a different process where these problems
are less considerable. This is a mistake, and I'll explain

IAX.conf problem (NEWBIE ALERT!)
I have several of incoming numbers on IAX from voiptalk and magrathea

different entry for each number pointing to a different context,
