'Dropping voice to exceptionally long queue on IAX2'
I searched the archives and found a couple references to this from Mark. I
am on a network that will not support IRC (govt) so I cannot do IRC.
This happend after calling Voicemail (<num>). I hung up on the call and also
tried the # to hang up. Both resulted in many, many
'Dropping voice to exceptionally long queue on IAX2' until I physically hung
up the line.

Origin of "Exceptionally long voice queue length queuing to IAX2/blahblah" messages
Hello,
I'm using asterisk for a quite long period, i integrated a lot of stuff to make it behave like any carrier class system, so users can:
manage Call forward on busy
manage Call forward on no answer
manage unconditionnal call forward
call back missed calls
and a lot of such services that can be both configured by menus and dtmf or by web interfaces (PHP+SQL), in fact i recreated

Exceptionally long voice queue length errors...
Hi,
I'm seeing a lot of "Exceptionally long voice queue length" errors in
my logs, and then I seem to have a problem
where Asterisk will drop the registration for a significant number of
phones (they go UNREACHABLE), but then they
come back approximately a minute later.
Is this some sort of load problem? Or something else?
Thank you.

Cause and cure for "Exceptionally long voice queue length queuing to Local"?
Hello,
We're seeing lots of warnings like the following, running Asterisk
1.6.1.12. Does anyone know the cause or cure?
One explanation I've come across is that the peer is congested and
sending RTCP messages asking us to slow the RTP down. Is there any way
we can verify this?

Exceptionally long queue length queuing . . . .
I wonder if anyone out there has a perspective on this. There are a
welter of tickets out there on the matter, most of them closed.
This problem began for me over a year ago, and continues up to the
latest versions I've installed (1.6.2.13).
It happens randomly, and the suggestion on one of the bug tracker
tickets that it is instigated by a small network leg looks to be on
point to me,

Exceptionally long queue length (help!)
Help!
I have providers configured that send me incoming calls via SIP. There's
one that seems to make trouble. As soon as I get a few concurrent calls
through this peer, Asterisk CPU load goes up to 250%, audio becomes
laggy and I get hundreds of these per second in the logs:

Exceptionally long queue length queuing
Hi,
We have a box up and we are starting to see a lot of "Exceptionally long
queue length queuing" in the logs. From all the research so far it seems
like this leads to their systems crashing and being unreachable. In our
case the box remains up and takes calls. We are running Asterisk 16.6.1. We
are using MusicOnHold to play online music streams via ffmpeg. Any idea on

Incorrect voice mail format on transfer
Hello, all. I'm running Asterisk 1.6.1.6 on CentOS 5.3 in a
multi-tenant environment with IMAP voice mail storage on Zimbra. One of
our clients is having a problem when transferring voice mails from one
mailbox to another (option 8 in the standard voice application menu)
using their Snom 320 and 360 phones.
The end results is the final recipient cannot listen to the voicemail.

IMAP voice mail storage
Hello, all. I am attempting to use IMAP voice mail storage in Asterisk
1.6.1.1 on CentOS 5.3 using Zimbra 5.1.6. I will not be using it as it
has proved terribly unstable - Asterisk segfaults on every voice mail
message although the message is successfully deliver to my email inbox -
but I thought I should report it. Here are the errors from the Asterisk

Voice mail & Uniden UIP-200 phones
I had a working system using * 1.0 and then 1.2 and now Asterisk 1.4.13
with addons 1.4.4, zaptel 1.4.6, libpri 1.4.2. I have a mix of
Grandstream (GXP2000), Uniden uip-200, Linksys Wireless G, and analog
phones via Adtran chan bank. When I went to * 1.4.13, the Uniden phones
stopped being able to login to voicemail. All phones are on same lan
with Asterisk.
I get 'Login incorrect'

It'll work, either as a SIP phone with the SIP image, or as skinny using
wither chan_sccp or chan_skinny (check the wiki).

Bad Voice Quality - IAX2 redirect
Asterisk 1.2.7
RedHat 9.0
Hi,
I've run into some voice degradation problems with IAX2:
I frequently have calls come in on a DiD provided by an ITSP. I often
have to redirect these calls back out to the PSTN (i.e. to a cell
phone). When this happens, I don't want my server in the media path,
I want to hand it off to my ITSP instead and let them handle both ends
of the call. I've

Hi,
I'm running several asterisk servers in combination with dundi. The
servers are in different data centers, but other than that they are running
identical copies of the same os image, asterisk configuration, etc. One
server acts as the trunk and is used to terminate pstn calls, and pass them
on to another server via dundi, which then answers the call.
I recently noticed that one of

Voice mail distribution - missing messages
Hello,
I seem to be having an issue with voice mail on Asterisk 1.6.2.15 (file storage). Whenever someone leaves a message that is distributed to another box (like VoiceMail(1000&1001&1002,u)), but the VM never gets distributed to the intended recipients. Instead, I get the following in the logs:

Problem in using bdh function for Govt tickers
Hi, all
I wanted to fetch data from Bloomberg for govt bonds, and analyse it
further.
I am having trouble in getting data as when I use field=PX_LAST, it is
giving the prices but when I use field=CPN, or ISSUE_DT, it is not giving
the results and just bouncing back <NA> for that.
