Parked Call Viewer Application - Freeware
I have written an application (win32) to view parked calls. The reason i wrote the code is because my GS doesnt support the system reading the parked extension back to me after I park it. This will allow you to view where the call is parked, the caller id and when it was parked there. You can configure it to show parked calls parked by anyone or set it to a specific Device. If you put

So, I can't figure out how to get the parkandannounce application to work the way I want it to... I have cisco 7960 IP phones using SIP, and this is what I have in my extensions.conf: exten => 700,1,ParkAndAnnounce(pbx-transfer:PARKED|90|SIP/${EXTEN:1}|internal,${EXTEN:1},1) exten => 700,2,Hangup and in my parking.conf: [general] parkext => 700 ; What ext.

How to count Parked calls?
Hey All, I am working on a SIP Call bridging application. Every time I receive a incoming call in Asteriskserver1 my AGI should alert to AsteriskServer2 and AsteriskServer2 should callback to AsteriskServer1 and call should be bridged on specified extension. (making call in this way is customer requirement) Every time I receive a call in AsteriskServer1, I Park the call and through AGI,

how can I catch the event generated when a parked call is hung up?
Hi all, how can I catch the event generated when a parked call is hung up? In my dialplan, when arrives a call to a specific number, Asterisk parks the call and announces the parking slot to a number. But if the user hangs up the parked call, I don't know how to catch the event, from dialplan, that removes the call from the parking slot. I want to know if there is a method for do this.

Re-parking (or transfer) a parked call
How do you transfer or re-park a call that's been picked up from a parking lot? I don't see any options for specifying the transfer options on the parked call, so that you could transfer or repark it. -- Barry D. Asterisk 1.4.13 -- issue with parked calls
I've tried to find other threads with this same topic, but haven't found any... Apologies if this already being discussed.... Running asterisk 1.4.13 (upgraded from 1.4.9) and zaptel 1.4.4. Having an issue with (I think) parked calls. We tend to park calls, but we're often not able to pick them back up, or the other party says they get dropped, etc. There doesn't seem to be a

Parked Calls in 1.4.23.1
I know the call parking feature changed in 1.4.23.1 to fix some serious issues. I'm seeing a major change though which I find disturbing. A person parks a call by transferring it to the parking position (700). When the timeout value is reached, the call is NOT returned to that device, but rather the 's' extension of the phone's registered context (in this case [unrestricted]).

How obtain the slot position when a call is parked?
Hi, I want to ask you if asterisk, when I use the command park(), gives me for example a variable that contains the slot position where it parks the call or if it only tells me (audio) in the channel this position number? In other words, is there a way to obtain and use the value of the slot position when the call is parked? Thanks.

parked calls
Using FreePBX, is there a way to play a beep sound when you are connected to a parked call? Right now, it's dead silence and we can't tell if the call has been connected. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... No MOH with parked call
Hi, Has anybody else noticed that MOH does not play on parked calls in 1.6.2.14? Or is it just my setup? MOH seems to work in every other respect (Call Held or in-Queue), but when a call is parked, the logs show MOH being started, but the parked party hears nothing. The verbose logs show the following. Any thoughts on whet to check next? Thanks, Steve ### Call comes in here and is answered

Weird problem with parked call expiration
Hi, I am having a very weird problem with call parking. I have defined call parking correctly, as it work well when parking calls and picking them up. The problem is what happens after the the 45 seconds have expired. The behavior wanted is that the person who put the call on "park" is called back after 45 seconds. What ACTUALLY happens is that the phone who got put on park

Stuck Parked Calls?
I've lurked for a while, but I think this is one of my first "pleas" for help. I'm having issues where a parked call using the macro below is getting "stuck". Users park the call via a blfxfer key on an Aastra phone. If the call is a blind transfer, it tries to park the call. If it isn't a blind transfer, it tries to unpark the call. Only 2 extensions (2759 and

Flash Pane - Monitor Parked Calls?
Need help with how to configure for parked calls in the Flash Operator Panel's op_buttons.cfg file ... I've looked on the wiki, google and asternic's site and can't seem to find how to setup op_buttons.cfg to monitor parked calls. For example, if someone parks in 701, I'd like to see that represented on the panel. I've tried a number of things ... this is what I have now

Parked Call Ringback
Hello, I have enabled call parking and it works great. However, when the "hold time" hits the "parkingtime", the extension that parked the call is called back. The problem is, if that extension does not pickup the returning call, the call gets dropped. Is it possible to get Asterisk to automatically park the call again if the callback isn't answered? Quite

Parked Calls
Using the default features.conf setup, if I include parkedcalls in my dialplan, and a call gets parked, and times out, where does the call go? Does it go to a timeout extension in parked calls, or does it go to a timeout extension in the original context? (Using an AEL based dialplan similar to below). -- context internal { ... ... t { jump 600 at

Cannot xfer parked callers
Here's how it's currently working: 1) Call comes in 2) Operator parks call (700) 3) Operator picks up call on another phone (701) 4) Operator tries to transfer to a different phone (we use #0) but the transfer doesn't work. We can transfer initial callers all we want and it works fine. Once a call is parked, however, we can no longer transfer the caller. Any ideas? Thanks, Jay

when I press "transfer" -> blind -> 700 . The user is not able to hear what extension the call was parked on
I am using Polycom 501s with asterisk 1.2.4. When transfering to call parking wih "#1" -> 700 the user is able to hear asterisk tell him what extension the call was parked on. However, when I press "transfer" -> blind -> 700 . The user is not able to hear what extension the call was parked on. It seems like the polycom is hanging up before asterisk is able to
