chan_sccp/SEP<mac>.cnf.xml
HI all:
I have spent a large amount of time configuring/installing phones
connected to Asterisk. Halfway through the process I discovered that my
Cisco7960 with 2 7914 expansions was not supported in the SIP protocol.
After reverting to SCCP 6.0(4.0) I am now perplexed with the hassle of
configuring SCCP to properly work with Asterisk.
So far I have gotten the phone to dial and receive calls

Problem with chan_sccp and cisco 7960
Hi !
On Cisco 7960 (with or without 7914 add-on module) when I press speakerphone
button (or select line with line button - which automatically put second
line on speakerphone) after about 15-20 seconds of dialtone Asterisk stable
dies (seg fault). Tested versions of Asterisk are 1.0.2, 1.0.3 or 1.0.5,
chan_sccp is newest form CVS of chann-sccp.sourceforge.net ). Firmware of
7960 is

I got it (was: Cisco 7940 with asterisk)
Hi again,
I found chan_skinny and that seems to work pretty good. the SCCP one
filled out all the buttons really nice, but skinny seems to be
working.
How do I fill out the second line button on the phone with skinny.conf?
Thanks much!

chan_sccp and CISCO CP-7914 Module
Hello list,
Has anyone on list had experience with getting the 7914 module working
with Asterisk, probably using the chan-sccp drivers?
I have 7912 and 7940 phones working OK, I need something for
reception, and I was thinking a 7960 with two of these modules would
handle it, but need to know that someone has got it working somewhere
(seeing lines that are free, busy etc)

Problem compiling chan_sccp
Hi,
I recently bought a 7910. I found out too late that it would not do
SIP as I initially thought. Anyway before ditchingit for a 7960 I
wanted to try it out, I read that the guys at
http://chan-sccp.sourceforge.net/ had done some improvements to the
original chan_sccp driver and having 80% functionality with this
model.
I have not been able to compile their driver and keep getting the

I didn't have a spare 7960 to use this week, so maybe some line issue is
still present.

- fixed old memory leak on unload (now unload chan_sccp.so and load

- very experimental hint (busy status line lamp or icon) support. This
is a very experimental system so it might not work properly with
particular cisco phones. 7960, 7970 and 7940 with recent firmware does
work great. Old phones can't, of course, use the hint system.

SCCP problem with ATA188, Asterisk@home and chan_sccp
Hi,
This is a message I already posted on the chan_sccp mailing list, but since this list has a lot of active members, I'm hoping someone might be able to help (And my problem is * related, so I guess it's ok if I post it here also ;) ).
I'm trying to get SCCP ATA188s to run with Asterisk.
The Asterisk box uses the latest Asterisk@Home image (Version 2.6).
I have compiled and

asterisk & chan_sccp
ive got asterisk running with chan_sccp and three cisco phones (2 7910's and 1
7960). lots of bugs. when i press the speed dial button on either 7910,
asterisk dies. also, if i dial from the 7910 to 7910, everything works fine.
i can dial from or to the 7960 once, and then one of the 10's and the 60 die
and try to reregister.
if i take the 7960 out of the mix and remove its

chan_sccp and bristuff 1.0.3 weirdness
I am using chan_sccp on bristuffed asterisk (0.2RC3 on asterisk 1.0.3).
Things seem fine but I am seeing some weird stuff. I have a Kirk IP600
connecting to * with 2 handsets.
The weird thing is that for incoming calls the handset that is put second
as my dialstring, never rings.
This is my dial string:
exten => 666666666,4,Dial(${PHONE1}&${DECT1}&${DECT2}),25,tm)

Announcement: Another test release of chan_sccp
Hi all,
we are happy to announce the new test-release of chan_sccp.
The Cisco 7920 support is working now, however, some call handling stuff is
hardcoded for testing.
Also some more in-deep-knowledge of Skinny was archieved, how they
handle calls.
Please test it with your 7940/7960 and 30VIP and report any problems
using our bug tracking tool.

chan_sccp availability?
hi,
I'm trying to get the latest chan_sccp. The links from
http://chan-sccp.berlios.de are all dead. Is it just me? Does anyone
know an alternate source to get chan_sccp?
Seems like chan_sccp is the way to go if I have a bunch of cisco
phones I don't want to use SIP on? Anyone else have an opinion on the
built in asterisk skinny vs the chan_sccp?
thanks,
Andy

chan-sccp problem, phone is not registering
Hi list!
I'm trying to configure the Kirk IP 600 wireless (DECT) system. The
wireless phones are regular DECT phones, the Kirk IP 600 is doing the voip
part by registering/gatewaying the phones to a callmanager server.
The phones do not work and I think the problem is that they do not
register at asterisk but I'm not sure because I don't understand a thing
of the sccp/skinny

CallerID/chan_sccp
When sending a call to a line defined on chan_sccp,
there is an error on the console that says:
Jun 7 08:22:29 WARNING[3924]: sccp_channel.c:79
sccp_channel_send_callinfo: Incoming call SCCP/Line1-00000008 doesn't
have CallerId name
Is this because of the changes in the callerid name from stable to head?
Or does someone know of a way to correct this?

Asterisk + Cisco 7920 + chan_sccp or chan_skinny
Greetings,
I have seen a few postings in the past regarding the interop of Asterisk and
the Cisco 7920 WiFi phone. To date, I have not seen a definitive method to
getting the phone working. Assuming someone has this actually working, can
that person step up and answer these questions.
1) What Channel is it working with (chan_skinny or chan_sccp)?
2) If code was used that is not a part of a
