Re TrixBox
Hey Guys
We are replacing a BM4 with a trixbox (asterisk) virtual numbers as the
customer wants to move the callcentre.
They are asking for an equiv to the ipview
I gather HUD may be or the panel view
The problem is that we need to see
(a) total calls in the queue
(b) calls for specific DID - How can you give 1 DID preference to another
DID

MSSQL ODBC CDR
Hello
I am having trouble setting up the cdr_odbc with MSSQL server. Has anybody done this?
I have followed what little documentation I can find. Asterisk errors on a connection error, but tcpdump doesn't even show an attempt.
Does anybody have some examples for MSSQL ODBC CDR?
I've downloaded unixODBC and the FreeTDS project, recompiled asterisk....
Thanks

nnamp question
Hi:
I have a machine with four interfaces connecting four
different networks. I am learning to use nmap and
trying to force the nmap working only one interface.
As nmap man page states, I use -e option and it would
not work:
nmap -e fx0 -v -sP 192.168.128.0/23
Starting Nmap 3.95 ( http://www.insecure.org/nmap/ )

Newbie physical layout question
Sorry for the very newbie-like question. I have the
FXS part straight. The part I don't understand is the
FX0 part. Will I need the FX0 card if I am connecting
to a service like FWD? My goal is to get rid of my
phone line all together. I am under the impression I
will only need an FX0 if I'm connecting to the central
office side of the phone connection or to an existing
PBX. Bottom

Problems with Upgrade from Courier
I inherited a server from a previous employee. The server crashed so it was
time to move everything over to another server. We have a web mail site and
I installed everything running dovecot, postfix and roundcube. After I
installed it, everything worked great when I created a new user. The new
user could send and receive emails with no issues. I then copied the home

cluster analysis labels for dendrogram
Hi,
I am clustering data based on three numeric variables. I have a fourth
variable that is categorical (site) which I would like to use to label the
leaves of my dendrogram, so I can see how the different sites are grouped
throughout the tree, but I do NOT want to use this variable in the cluster
analysis itself. Is there any way I can do this?
Thanks,
Samantha

Mediatrix 1204
I have a Mediatrix 1204 FXO gateway setup for SIP. I would like to know if anyone has gotten this item to work with Asterisk. I need to get a 2 or 4 port FX0 gateway working with asterisk. The Idea is the following.
PBX at lets say any Hotel(Analog lines FXS) - FX0 Gateway(1204) -- {Internet} -- Asterisk - local IVR system. (IVR is not at present running Asterisk old dialogic system has FX0

cant do it in CLI anymore?
Hi Floks,
This is probably really dumb but here goes:
I used to be able to place calls to my SIP phones from the CLI using the
'Dial' command for testing. I have installed asterisk on a new machine and
copied over the .confs and started it up. It all works fine. But when I try
to initiate a call from the CLI using 'Dial' it just says:
*CLI> Dial
No such command

Asterisk Setup Question -- Please Help
I have a question on Asterisk and whether it will work with the following
design.
Install ASTERISK on the external side of the Network. Purchase an AudioCodes
4/8 port Analog Fx0 gateway. So far everything seems straight forward. Here
is the twist.
The company currently has Cisco Call Manager 3.3 which does not support SIP
Trunking. But it does have a VG248. I would like to place 4 lines

User picks up phone, hears another call, not dialtone
First of all - Many, many thanks to Mark for his troubleshooting and fix
of bug 1320 (FXO_KS signalled Zap Channels on Adtran 750 Channel Bank
Stuck in Rsrvd State).
I have heard complaints that once every couple weeks, when a user picks up
their analog phone (t1 span off of a TE410P into an Adtran 750 with 6 FXS
cards), they don't get dialtone, but instead, hear another conversation.

Why is my data always imported as a list?
Hi,
I am a relatively new to R. So, this is probably a really basic issue that
I keep hitting.
I read my data into R using the read.csv command:
x = rep("numeric", 3)
CB_un=read.csv("Corn_Belt_unirr.csv", header=TRUE, colClasses=c("factor",
x))
# I have clearly told R that I have one factor variable and 3 numeric
variables in this table.
#but if I try to do

RE: AVM A1 (OLD) CARD
I have an old A1 ISDN card that we used to use in the mid 1990's for the
delivery of data to our ISP
I have seen some users have been using them, with respect to doing web
searches.
Can someone please let me know what drivers I require to use this card under
debian and with asterix,
and what the limitations are of using this card. I dont want to make calls
but do inbound using it.
