Need advice to get wcte11xp and wcfxo to load
I have a X100P and a TE110P in my Asterisk box. I can either get the
X100P or the TE110P to work, but never both. Here's my zaptel.conf

e&m=1-24
fxsls=25
When I load wcte11xp and wcfxo, I will get this error.
[root at asterix etc]# modprobe wcte11xp

Generic X100P setup issues
I am starting to dip my toes into the asterisk world, and to that end
I've scavenged an old PC (this is a home project, and I have basically
$0 to spend on it), and installed FC1. I've purchased a clone X100P (or
at least I was told it was), and I am trying to get it to work. However,
when I try and load the wcfxo module, I get the following errors...

Asterisk@Home .5 Setup help with 4 X100P
Hello All, I installed Asterisk@Home .5 last night. I was able to
configure some extensions for the house and they work fine. I just can't
make inbound and/or outbound calls. The Flash Operator Panel shows four
external icons and my new extensions.
I have four X100P and two Broadvoice sip accounts.
Thanks, David

X100P Setup
Hello all,
I have just installed a Wildcard X100P into an Asterisk box. I connected
the line socket to the internal telephone system where I work. The card is
identified to asterisk etc, however I am unable to recieve or make calls.
When attempting to dial I get:
Executing Dial("SIP/1106-ec8b", "Zap/1/644746") in new stack
Called 1/644746
Zap/1-1 answered SIP/1106-ec8b

Small setup
Hello All,
I have a very small setup of 4 users and a X100P. Asterisk is currently
running on an Athlon 1800 but the server it is running on is also our
imap/web/mail/development/samba server and we are having a few issues
with asterisk which I believe is down to to many tasks.
What I intend to do is build a box just for asterisk(Ill call the old
one obelix). I have a few machines in the loft

X100P question about odd behavior
Hi All...
I have installed a single X100P card in my PC and am playing with Asterisk.
The wire I plugged into the X100P has two POTS lines on it, wired on the
RJ45 in the normal way.
I am getting odd behavior. It seems when I dial out that the X100P dials
both lines at the same time.
I have two questions.
First, I see that the X100P is only a single channel. Does this mean that
I can

Best FXO hardware for home use
Hi. I have been searching through old threads and various forums, but can't seem to find out what the consensus view is here on the best type of FXO hardware to use for a home asterisk implementation.
Specifically, should I buy a FXO ATA like the Sipura 3000, or a PCI form factor port like the Digium TDM400 series. I have read horrible things about problems with the X100P, so I have ruled

Problem with Dutch PSTN-line on X100P
Yo all,
I have a problem with a Dutch (KPN) PSTN-line, connected to an X100P.
The call wil sound OK at first, but after 10-20 minutes, the audio will
start to crackle. Soon after that, this crackle turns into a continuous
noise and the parties won't be able to hear eachother anymore. It also
sometimes happens that the party on the TDM400P hears a very loud,
short-delay echo of themselves,

X100P interrupt load
Hello,
Can anyone tell me what the "normal" number of
interrupts per second is for an X100P card?
I've used FreeBSD 5.3 and a linux 2.6.11 kernel
on the exact same hardware (only the disk changed)
and `systat -vmstat 1` on FreeBSD and
`procinfo -dS -n1` under Linux. For both, I'm
seeing roughly 1000 interrupts per second on my
X100p card. It was a bit worse under FreeBSD,

Digium X100P vs Dodgy Ebay X100P
Hi
I thought this might be of general interest.
Recently I purchased an X100P from a Digium reseller in the UK. Very
pleased with the card; works perfectly. My friend (known for his deep
pockets and short arms) purchased an X100P card from Ebay. He's had no end
of problems with line noise, dropped called etc so I thought I would compare
the two cards. Plus mine was delivered within two

Hi all.
I`ve installed a X100P on my box and is working well with incoming and

X100P dead?
Hello,
I have X100P card but exten => _9X.,1,Dial(Zap/1/${EXTEN:1}) does not work.
The error is app_dial.c:803 dial_exec: Unable to create channel of type
'Zap' (cause 0)
Zap show channel, lspci etc show everything is normal.
Because X100P is Intel 537 modem, so can I use it as true modem for test?
Did any one use X100P as a modem?
Thank you very much.

X100P pass through questions
Hi all,
Really excited to be using Asterisk and learning about VOIP and PBX's.
I'm a complete beginner at telephony but have built and installed
Asterisk 1.4.5 and read several of the Asterisk books online and have
successfully connected to FWD with IAX2 and to GIZMO using SIP.
Just purchased a Motorola Wildcard X100P and installed it into a clone
PC running Fedora Core 6. Analog

problems with analog interface to PBX
Folks,
For the last few days I've been trying to experiment with a Panasonic PBX and an X100P but have run into quite a few problems which I am not sure if they can be solved with this type of card (how about TDM01B?)
1) I wanted to use *'s IVR capabilities, so I routed the calls to the extension where the x100p was connected to.
Asterisk should answer the call, playback a message,

Newbie x100p install question
PROBLEM: My x100p only does bad things. When I plug the line from the
wall into the card, other phones in my house go nuts, no dialtone, crazy
clicking, random tones, etc. Following the steps below, the line is
screwed up any time I test after step 2. Just plugging the line from the
wall into the x100p takes my other phones off line. External calls to my
line hear busy. Obviously, can't

can X100P detect phone pick up like an answering machine
If Asterisk is configured as a simple answering machine replacement
with the X100P connected to PSTN line. No FXS ports in the
Asterisk machine. Standard phones are connect in parallel with
the X100P like you would a regular answering machine.
Can Asterisk detect that a phone has been picked up and cancel
the outgoing message and/or voice recording? What about if the
phones are connected to

Re: two computers set up ... now what?

Now you just need a "phone" or "station" (FXS) device and a method of
connecting it.
***
So... essentially I need to spend another $125 US on a Wildcard TDM400P so I
can plug in an analog phone?
On the X100P description it says:
"The X100P supports FXS Loopstart and "Kewlstart" (Loopstart with far end
disconnection supervision). It can detect ringing and
