Spurious ring burst on TDM400 FXS port
G'day all, A weird problem has just started happening with my * server, and I've googled myself stupid looking for help. My system is latest CVS, a TDM400P with two FXS modules, two X101Ps, and VoIP connections (SIP, SCCP & IAX2). My wife complained about her extension (analogue, on one of the TDM400 ports) being dead -- no dialtone. I had to shut down *, then unload and reload the

TDM400 and Phone does not 'ring'
I have a running * with a TDM40B board in it. I have 3 analog phones that works (rings) perfectly when connected to a Telco POTS line. When connected to the Digium TDM40B (with FXS port), I have problems with 'ringing': 1 phone 'ringes' normally 1 phone 'ringes' a bit cripled (instead of ring-ring... ring-ring..., it does 'ring-ri... ri.... ring... ri...) and the 3rd

TDM400 w/ FXS S110M pinout on RJ11 connector?
Hi all, I just got my long awaited FXS modules for a TDM400 card, and was a bit puzzled about how my phones and the FXS interface worked together. Here goes: In Sweden (that's where I am located) phones traditionally are connected in daisy chain configuration. This means that a phone in on-hook condition passes the line through back onto the outer pair of the RJ11, back into the wall

Problem with a TDM400
I have a small system based on one TDM400 card with - 2 FXO modules for incoming lines - 1 FXS module for one phone The system was working fine in the past. The motherboard was exchanged and during the switch, the phones line was rewired with a mistake and a incoming phone line was connected to the FXS module, and there was ringing voltage on the module. Now, the system kinda works but the FXS

which TDM to use? DID line from telco with no dial tone and no voltage
as my first project with *, i would like to replace our old neax2400(sds) with an * server. i've got an X100p and a TDM400 on hand already. for the CO lines, the X100p works ok with fxsks signaling though there are still strange things happening every now and again but more testing is on the way. my real big problem is the DID lines which our telcos call DDI lines; (incoming calls only) i

TDM400 with FXS some handsets not ringing
Folks, I have a TDM400 with an FXS module. I'm having some trouble ringing some phones attached to the device. I have a real el cheapo handset that cost me about 9UKP. It works fine, I plug it into the Wildcard and call the channel and it rings. I have tried plugging in my BT Diverse 3016 cordless phone but it will not ring, although I can call out from it. I have also tried my GPO 332L

TDM400 (?) zap hangup
And if that ain't confusing I don't know what would be. I bought a TDM400 with two modules (FXO, FXS) a couple or so years ago and ended up never using it. Passed it along to a friend who is having some problems with it. (He isn't on this list.) We've both tried searches using Google but haven't been able to find anything that helps. So this is more a question of

TDM400 hungup problem
Hi all, We have tested both tdm400 and BRI 1 port HFC based with mISDN driver and with both cards we have the same problem... so probably it's due to our misconfiguration, but we couldn't find anything useful on google. With TDM400 we can place and receive calls, but if we receive a call from TDM400 and we reject it from a sip phone , asterisk send the hangup but the line continue to

Brother 8360P fax cannot connect to TDM400
Hi, We've got troubles trying to connect a Brother 8360P to a TDM400 FXS board. Design is : PSTN ------ Junghanns QuadBRI --------- Digium TDM400 ----------- Brother fax As you can guess, QuadBRI and TDM400 are plugged into 1.0.10 Asterisk server. - from Asterisk console, we can observe calls reaching the fax machine but the fax never answer - when we substitute the fax with an analog

Config TE410P + TDM400
When configuring a TE410P which is only attached to a single E1 together with a TDM400, how should one count the channels for the next Zap interface? Must I put 4 span lines in zapata.conf and define all channels up to 124? thus having the TDM400's start at 125? Or can I comment out the 3 spans I don't use and start at channel 32 for the TDM400? (this would get nasty when adding extra

DTMF digits lost on TDM400 card
I've been having ongoing problems with my TDM400 FXS ports occasionally not picking up all digits dialled from my analogue handsets. There appears to be no set pattern to it, although number 1 seems to be slightly more frequently missed than other numbers. I've played around with RX Gain settings and used ztmonitor to arrange the input signal between 50 and 75% of the maximum value

HW Question (TDM400)
Hi, all Did anyone tried TDM400 card on old main board (Intel 440LX chipset -- PII)? The reason I am asking is because TDM400 needs PCI2.2 and main board is PCI2.1 I do not want to upgrade yet. Thanks, Rudolf

TDM400 synch issue
Hello, I have the following configuration : E100P -> * -> TDM400 -> Modem When I receive FAXes, about 20% of them are corrupted : pages are not always complete. If the fax is complex or with numerous pages, it's usually a mess. Before that, I was using spandsp with success. Unfortunately it's too picky with some broken fax (training failed). Since this failure only occurs with

TDM400 takes Zap/4 line off hook
Hello, I have a TDM400 with 2 FXS modules and 2 FXO modules, as follows: Zap/1 - internal phone Zap/2 - internal modem Zap/3 - exchange Zap/4 - exchange Recently I upgraded zaptel (and kernel modules) from 1.0.9-1.1 to 1.0.9.1 and upgraded asterisk to 1.0.9.dfsg.1-3, which are Debian versions for Debian/sarge of the packages I believe the Debian maintainers created (not in Debian) The above

TDM400
Hi, I have an TDM400 4 FXO module setup on my dual Celeron server running asterisk 1.0.2 and I have had to restart the asterisk process multiple times lately. I was wondering if anyone else has to restart the asterisk process after storms roll through their area. Before I restart I usually have sound quality issues and weird pickup problems. But, once I restart the asterisk process everything

TDM400 seems healthy, but no dialtone??
Folks, I recently swapped a TDM400 FXS card that was working perfectly into a new server (running recent CVS), and it's either misbehaving (unlikely), or I've missed something obvious (much more probable). Everything seems to be working, but I can't get any dialtone from it when I plug a phone into any of the 4 ports!! All of the jacks are lit (green lights) but they all seem dead

TDM400 - channel out to lunch?
Today I had channel 1 on my TDM400 go to sleep, verified by pluggin in known good telco lines in various combinations on channel 1 through 4 - problem is channel 1, not anything external. So after seeing lots of stuff on the list re: TDM400's I power cycled, removed board and let linux say nothing's home, replaced board, told linux to ignore it etc. No OS/asterisk/etc changes made on

Can I add distinctive ring with asterisk and TDM400?
Hello - I have a TDM400P with 2 FXO and 2 FXS modules. Feeding the FXS modules are two VOIP lines which are terminated by VOIP adapters and have regular RJ11 wires connecting to the FXS ports. Since the two different VOIP lines have different phone numbers, and I know and can tell asterisk which VOIP line is connected to which FXS port, can I cause a distinctive ring on the extensions if a call
