DTMF trouble on isdn: Discarding too big frame of size 1280
Hello all,
I'm becoming mad in trying to solve that issue.
If I make a call from any of the phone here (I have some Grandstream and a
couple of Snom105 - quite one of the best phones i've ever seen, this last
one), to an outside IVR system, if i try to send dtmf to choose one of the
IVR options, i notice in the /log/asterisk/messages this line:

DTMF on Snom
Hi all,
I have problem using DTMF on Snom Phones (300, 320 and 360)
I read they use in preference out-of-band DTMF , and if the remote system
does not support it they default back to inband.
I would like to use DTMF as out of band , and I defined
dtmfmode=rfc2833
in the peer configuration.
Nope, I am no able to access any ouside services using DTMF;
Another kind of phones, ATCOM AT320, can be

Can't connect Snom 190 to Asterix PBX. Suggestions?
Hello,
I'm attempting to get Asterisk running for the first time in my company. As
I've never used it before, I am creating a small testbed with which to learn
Asterisk and get the kinks worked out before attempting to roll it out.
I have * compiled and running, and built the sample config files as
suggested by the Wiki. I got my Snom 190 configured to use DHCP, and have

DTMF and Snom
Hello list,
I'm having some troubles with DTMF tones. When pressing numbers on a
Snom phone, the DTMF-signal takes too long.
I have the following in sip.conf :
dtmfmode = rfc2833
which works well for Grandstream, Yealink and Cisco phones. But not for
Snom.
Snom support tells me I should use SIP info.
Is it possible to have something like this :
dtmfmode = rfc2833, info
??

Can't connect Snom 190 to Asterix PBX. Sugge stions?
Here is a part of a working sip.conf for Asterisk with SNOM190 Phones.
Try using host=dynamic and have a closer look at the configuration in the
snom 190.
Also, try using dtmfmode=rfc2833 .

Asterisk and DTMF
Hi list!
I have an Asterisk server (1.2.14) connected to a E1 line via a TE410P, and
some
PAP2NA connected to it. The PAP2 DTMF configurations is set to INFO and
Asterisk
to INFO too. At first, is INFO method different from RFC2833??
Well, I have two problems. The first is that when I place a call to outside,
via
E1 trunk, sometimes I get some DTMF tones and I'm sure nobody hit any key.

distinctive ring on SNOM 200
Hi,
I'm trying to set up my SNOM 200 with extensions, with different
ringtones - but it doesn't seem to work.
I've defined two extensions for it in Asterisk and in the SNOM 200
configuration. In the SNOM home>settings>SIP>Lines config page, I have
set the ringer for the first extension to "ringer1", and "ringer6" for
the second. In

DTMF-troubles with Snom
Hello list,
I'm having DTMF-troubles with a Snom phone. I want to know if it's the
Snom or Asterisk that makes the trouble.
I'm playing a prompt, then make a choice for "2" :

GSM 6.10 codec for Asterisk
Dear all,
I'm planning to buy some IP phones with GSM audio codec support in order to
use with an Asterisk SIP server I have implemented and nowsuccessfully
running with softphones like Eyebeam and Twinkle.
A vendor offer to me the SNOM 300 IP phone, that support GSM 6.10 audio
codec. I've looking for GSM 6.10 codec in the web but there is no helpful

Powering SNOM 200 phones?
Ok, not exactly an Asterisk problem, but...
I picked up some SNOM 200 phones because SNOM's have been recommended for use
with Asterisk and they have line buttons that can subscribe to presence.
However, they don't appear to power up when connected to my Negear FS108P,
which is an 802.3af Power-over-ethernet capable hub. I am pretty sure
these are the SNOM 200b, in that the ethernet

pick them up and call out over Zap or IAX fine. I just
