Pressing 0 in Voicemail causes * to hangup
I tried it w/ mine as well and it hung up on me because I just have Voicemail running not Voicemail2. It seems as though you have Voicemail2 because it's trying to play the Unavialable message. Just a thought though. Does it do the samething w/ [qout-phillyq] exten => 0,1,Voicemail(u1) exten => 0,2,Goto(default,s,1) Tim Thompson http://www.amatechtel.com (806) 722-2227

Conditional Contexts
I was wondering if the following was possible: 2 separate incoming contexts. The first will be used when there is a secretary present. The second will be used when there is no secretary. I know that this can be done using includes and specifying the time in which each separate context would be included. However, I would like to be able to switch them from the reception telephone. For

Understanding tryCatch
I've read the help and the archives on tryCatch but I'm still stuggling trying to understand how it works exactly and how I can use it to get the result I need. I have a data.frame of urls which point to 11 .zip files. Basically I use RCurl to get the list of files from a ftp and then reduce that directory dump to the 11 zip files I want to download. Its easy enough to do that in a loop

Fw: Files left open
I'm still stuggling with files left open. My app is a Dialogic application on a Win2K box. The host is running AIX 5.1 ML2 and samba 3.0.23a. Whenever my PC app speaks a prompt stored on the AIX box, the file stays open. smbstatus, fuser and lsof all agree the file is open. All other apps that I've tried, Winzip, pkzip, vi, etc., behave properly. I just can't believe this is a

Permissions on Samba share for Windows users
I'm working with Samba 3 on my Gentoo box. So far setting up andconfiguring Samba w/ldap and krb5 support is pretty straight forwared. My Gentoo box is now a member server of the domain, shows up in Active Directory. I can get a kerbereos ticket from our W2K PDC and connect to windows shares with as little effort as: smbclient //server/share -k Now I'm ready to start moving into

Multiple DDI & Hunting on Analog Lines (UK)
Hi everyone, I want to get multiple DDI's and hunting across those DDI's in case one of the lines is busy using analog phone lines. The system is for a large house so I want 3 x PSTN lines. 3 x DDI's and the ability for those DDI's to be presented across all three PSTN lines. BT say you can't have more than one DDI number associated with a PSTN line and that you can't

ISDN (isdn4linux) DDI
Hello all, does anybody have experiences with DDI on ISDN BRI? I would like to order DDI with 10 or 100 numbers from telco company, and use DDI numbers for direct calling SIP/H323 clients. But I don't know if Asterisk supports it, in archive I found only one answer about it, and I'm not sure. I am going to use it with isdn4linux card. Maybe DDI is called differently in other countries,

ZapBarge a PRI DDI
I'm using a TE405p with all four spans enabled, two configured as pri_cpe and two as pri_net, the asterisk is sitting between our ISDN (UK BT EuroISDN30) and our phone system. We have 200 DDI numbers on the ISDN's and I need to give one of our clients dial-in access to be able to monitor calls we handle on their behalf. I've got ZapBarge working but I need to restrict the client

Multiple DDI & Hunting on Analog Lines ( UK)
You should be able to get ISDN though. I think BT provide this anywhere. Otherwise your solution will be a Primary rate (ISDN30) with 8 channels. -----Original Message----- From: asterisk-users-admin@lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users-admin@lists.digium.com] On Behalf Of Matt Sent: 07 June 2004 10:19 To: asterisk-users@lists.digium.com Subject: Re: RE: [Asterisk-Users] Multiple DDI &

OT - how to get BT to present a number
If anyone can help me with this I'll be soooo grateful :) We have a isdn30 line, with a DDI range. We also have 2 business units that have separate 0870 numbers that are mapped onto 2 DDI numbers. I would like to be able to present these 0870 numbers from the business units so that the correct number is displayed on a callerid, or when 1471 is dialled. BT claim that I can only have a

Providing Telewest in the UK with per extens ion outbound callerID
Would be nice to do both (type 2 and 3 I believe in Oftel terms), but I'd accept just our DDI if that was all I could get. UK experts only. BT Outgoing caller ID not showing
Hi Just moved offices in the UK and moved our Asterisk box from old one to new one. Using idefisk softphones, Junghanns quadbri card for ISDN 2e interfaces. At both offices we had one standard number and a DDI range, routed with Asterisk. We'd set up the configuration so each idefisk set its own caller ID which then got sent by the extensions.conf script. Worked fine at old place but in

SIP, IAX2 and ISDN ISUP data
Hi all, I'm looking at my options for getting access to ISDN ISUP fields from DDI numbers, when connecting to a 3rd party Asterisk server. This is for a custom voicemail solution, and at this stage I want to avoid renting a PRI. The information I need to capture is: - Calling Number - Called Number (e.g. the DDI handling the call) - Redirecting Number (e.g. the device diverting to the

OT: BRI ISDN question
I am going to try and use a passive AVM fritz BRI card for my * setup.. Here is the thing.. I need to order my BRI from BT.. The service that looks to be the one to use is what they call ISDN 2e becasue this has the option to setup hunt groups across multiple ISDN2e lines so I could add another line later to get 4 channels.. According to the BT website in order to use the hunt grouping across
