chan_capi and DDI (Anlagenanschluss)
Hi all ! We have 3 NTBAs which are all going to our existing PBX. Our areacode is 06003 and our DDI enabled number 9141. I want to exchange that PBX with Asterisk, but still struggle to get it working. My CAPI.CONF is currently like this: [general] nationalprefix=0 internationalprefix=00 rxgain=0.800000 txgain=0.800000 [interfaces] context=in-capi msn=60039141 incomingmsn=* controller=1

AVM B1 and PTP mode
Hi ! I've fetched a spare AVM B1 card from the cellar, and installed it. After "modprobe b1pci" I did "capiinit" and capiinit moaned about a missing t1.b4. So I search the web and found one at http://www.avm.de/ftp/cardware/b1/x_misc/ddi/. When I now look at the controller, I finally see p2p-mode: # cat /proc/capi/controllers/1 name b1pciv4-a400 io

ISDN (isdn4linux) DDI
Hello all, does anybody have experiences with DDI on ISDN BRI? I would like to order DDI with 10 or 100 numbers from telco company, and use DDI numbers for direct calling SIP/H323 clients. But I don't know if Asterisk supports it, in archive I found only one answer about it, and I'm not sure. I am going to use it with isdn4linux card. Maybe DDI is called differently in other countries,

ZapBarge a PRI DDI
I'm using a TE405p with all four spans enabled, two configured as pri_cpe and two as pri_net, the asterisk is sitting between our ISDN (UK BT EuroISDN30) and our phone system. We have 200 DDI numbers on the ISDN's and I need to give one of our clients dial-in access to be able to monitor calls we handle on their behalf. I've got ZapBarge working but I need to restrict the client

Multiple DDI & Hunting on Analog Lines (UK)
Hi everyone, I want to get multiple DDI's and hunting across those DDI's in case one of the lines is busy using analog phone lines. The system is for a large house so I want 3 x PSTN lines. 3 x DDI's and the ability for those DDI's to be presented across all three PSTN lines. BT say you can't have more than one DDI number associated with a PSTN line and that you can't

Multiple DDI & Hunting on Analog Lines ( UK)
You should be able to get ISDN though. I think BT provide this anywhere. Otherwise your solution will be a Primary rate (ISDN30) with 8 channels. -----Original Message----- From: asterisk-users-admin@lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users-admin@lists.digium.com] On Behalf Of Matt Sent: 07 June 2004 10:19 To: asterisk-users@lists.digium.com Subject: Re: RE: [Asterisk-Users] Multiple DDI &

Information setting up asterisk with an ISDN NT
Hi Folks, First of all, I've been reading a lot and a lot about asterisk and ISDN-BRI, but is really a complicated world, not like PRI or Analog. I have 2 offices with 2 NT boxes and I want to connect them with Asterisk to route outgoing from one office two the other. At the end I want them to look like this Office2 will have only VoIP phones (not ISDN phones connected to a card in asterisk)

OT: BRI ISDN question
I am going to try and use a passive AVM fritz BRI card for my * setup.. Here is the thing.. I need to order my BRI from BT.. The service that looks to be the one to use is what they call ISDN 2e becasue this has the option to setup hunt groups across multiple ISDN2e lines so I could add another line later to get 4 channels.. According to the BT website in order to use the hunt grouping across

DAHDI: Inbound BRI call, DDI not presented
Hello- I have a system with one D410P and one B200P (both OpenVox). All is well with the D410P, inbound and outbound, and I can initiate calls on the B200P BRI span, but there may be something wrong with my inbound BRI setup: there is no indication of an inbound call when I dial in to it from the PSTN. When I run "pri intense debug" and make a call to the BRI span, I can see a

CallPres screening DDI
Hello, we had a running configruation where asterisk passed the phone number and the ddi to the pstn (i.e. 595-431) Now only the rootnumber arrives: 5950 I do not know, what to do. I tried to use callingpres (now i am just hiding every number, because 595-0 is no valid extension..) but that did not worked. > Protocol Discriminator: Q.931 (8) len=44 > Call Ref: len= 2 (reference

is gatekeeper required?
Hi all, I have one asterisk server with one ISDN BRI connection to PSTN, with h.323 support (oh323) I buy some voip phones, and I connect them to the same switch as asterisk server is; all is at the same TCP network. I need to route some extensions from my DDI (DID) line at asterisk to some voip phones, and also to do: outgoing calls from any voip phone to PSTN via asterisk, and intermediate

How to make * don't strip the leading 0
Hi folks! Is it possible to tell asterisk not to strip the leading 0 of *incoming* MSNs? I use asterisk with i4l and whenever I get a call from an long-distance party, the leading 0, which should be there according the german numbering, is not. So if I get a call from a mobile phone 0177-1234567 should be displayed, but 177-1234567 is displayed. I double checked if I've forgotten to remove an

h extension in macro
Hi, I have one Q: why doesn't work h-extension in macro? I want to setup fax macro, to send tif-file after fax channel hang-up, but h-extension doesn't work in macro, so I must put them to global context. But in this setup, exten => h,1,system(/var/lib/asterisk/bin/mailfax ${FAXFILE} ${EMAILADDR} "${CALLERIDNUM} ${CALLERIDNAME}") mailfax binary will be executed after any

X100P with Analogue DDI Trunks
I have * configured with 2 X100P cards (fxs_ks). The lines from the telco are 'analogue both way ddi trunks'. This means that every inbound call contains digits that represent an extension on the PBX. I can make outbound calls from * with no problem however I cannot receive inbound calls on these trunks. Some investigation has shown that when the line is idle there is 50 volts present and
