Zaptel FXO offhook when connected to PSTN
I installed Trixbox and a TDM400P with 2 FXO and 2 FXS ports and am having an annoying issue with the FXO ports. As soon as I plug either one into the phone line it's as though the line is disconnected i.e. get disconnected tone when trying to dial out, line is busy when dialling in. The CLI shows the following: trixbox1*CLI> zap show channel 4 Channel: 4 File Descriptor: 18 Span: 11*

X100P keeping PSTN line Offhook
Happens quite often. X100P FXO card puts the PSTN line offhook, so that no calls go out or come in. The outside callers get a busy siganl while inside callers cant dial PSTN. Its a DELL optiplex P3 128MB ram 500MHz processor. Here is some more info: (see the zapata.conf in the end) Please direct me where to look for problem. Echo issues (again...)
OK... so I'm not sure what I'm looking at. I've had the good old echo problems on my Rev C FXO again this morning, so I thought I'd attempt some debugging, though I'm not sure what I'm looking at. This call has echo. Channel: 2 File Descriptor: 20 Span: 1I> Extension: Dialing: no Context: incoming Caller ID string: "External Call" <99999999> Destroy:

What makes TDM400 FXS Connection to TELCO go into Off Hook State?
I've been having trouble with making outbound calls to my TELCO from a TDM400 card (FXS KS signalling) after upgrading from 1.6-beta9 to 1.6.0. The problem is completely intermittent. When it fails, I get this message: [Nov 9 19:12:26] WARNING[18916] app_dial.c: Unable to create channel of type 'DAHDI' (cause 0 - Unknown) At some point, it starts working, but I don't know what

TDM400P FXO channel hookstate always "Offhook" & outbound digits sent before provider dialtone
I have an Asterisk@Home 1.3 server (Asterisk 1.0.9) and recently added a TDM400P with (1) FXO card on port 4. Inbound calls are always successful but outbound calls fail 75% of the time with intercept messages from my dial tone provider that include "we're sorry, your call did not go through", and "we're sorry, when placing a local call it is now necessary to dial an area

DAHDI congestion problem
I am unable to dial out over a Wildcard TDM400P. This was working previously, so must have messed up the config somehow. I'm running Asterisk 1.6.0.15, with FreePBX 2.5.2.2. When I dial, I see: -- Executing [s at macro-dialout-trunk:19] Dial("DAHDI/1-1", "DAHDI/g0/9239220,300,") in new stack == Everyone is busy/congested at this time (1:0/1/0) It looks like the

Zap channels unavailable?
Hi, Lately we've noticed that some Zap channels on one of our PRIs are unavailable. We have 2 PRI lines with 60 channels in total. On the first PRI there are currently 20 channels that are not being used for some reason. I tried googling around and found some similar problems but there really was no solution (?). I'm not sure if this problem has occured now because of more load on the

dahdi wcb4xxp and fax
Hi all, I wanted to switch from my current setup (mISDN) to the native dahdi with b410p support (wcb4xp). All works fine for normal phone calls but not for faxing. Faxes are distorted, if arriving at all, and hylafax logs the usual bad stuff (HDLC frame not byte-oriented.) Our setup uses a digium b410p card with asterisk 1.6, latest libpri and dahdi, hylafax with iaxmodem, and all this on 1

clone X100p+dahdi dial out works only after receiving call
So, tweaking configs, rebuilding this and that... restarting, twiddling, it works (yeah!), but fails on re-boot to work at all. Consistently, though. I believe it comes down to this: I can call out only *after* I've received a call. So, cold boot. Then: modprobe dahdi modprobe wctc4xxp modprobe wcfxo dahdi: Telephony Interface Registered on major 196 dahdi: Version: 2.1.0.3

TDM04B - Takes long to initialize...
Hello All, I got my TDM04B card installed and configured. Everything works fine I can receive calls and route to appropriate extensions. The only problem I am facing is Slowness. When I dial the PSTN number which is connected to Zap 1-1 after two ring it answers and then run the AGI script. What I did was assign it to a specific extension. So all inbound call on that PSTN number should

TDM400P Internal Extenion Config
Hopefully someone here can save my sanity. I have been trying to solve this problem for days now, but just cant put my finger on it. Im new to * so I have probably done something stupid! I have a TDM400P with one FXO module and a FXS module. The main problem I have is not being able to get the extension attached to the FXS module to ring or be able to make calls. It gets a dialtone fine but I
