Multiple DDI & Hunting on Analog Lines (UK)
Hi everyone,
I want to get multiple DDI's and hunting across those DDI's in case one of the lines is busy using analog phone lines. The system is for a large house so I want 3 x PSTN lines. 3 x DDI's and the ability for those DDI's to be presented across all three PSTN lines.
BT say you can't have more than one DDI number associated with a PSTN line and that you can't

ISDN (isdn4linux) DDI
Hello all,
does anybody have experiences with DDI on ISDN BRI? I would like to
order DDI with 10 or 100 numbers from telco company, and use DDI
numbers for direct calling SIP/H323 clients. But I don't know if
Asterisk supports it, in archive I found only one answer about it, and
I'm not sure. I am going to use it with isdn4linux card.
Maybe DDI is called differently in other countries,

(see [Asterisk-Users] Multiple DDI & Hunting on Analog Lines (UK) for details) Does anyone on the list have any recent comments on reliability etc? I would really appricated some positive and negative comments.
Cheers

- 40 phones and only 3 PSTN trunks?. I would recommend at least 2 BRIs
for this. If you have ISDN you can also get DDI to the extensions.I
would strongly recommend abandoning the analogue PSTN lines and using
ISDN. The setup pain you will go through will be significantly less,
combined with better audio, more features (like DDI numbers!) and much
more robust connections.

X100P with Analogue DDI Trunks
I have * configured with 2 X100P cards (fxs_ks). The lines from the
telco are 'analogue both way ddi trunks'. This means that every inbound
call contains digits that represent an extension on the PBX. I can make
outbound calls from * with no problem however I cannot receive inbound
calls on these trunks.
Some investigation has shown that when the line is idle there is 50
volts present and

Question on setting up asterisk with hunting lines
*My apologies if this message is posted 3 times, I was trying to sent it to
the list once before I am a list-member, the second time before I was
approved.
Can anyone point me to some resources on using hunting lines with Asterisk?
Sales support of my telco have no idea what I am trying to do. They asked
what pbx system I am using, I was like Aster... never mind =)

ZapBarge a PRI DDI
I'm using a TE405p with all four spans enabled, two configured as pri_cpe
and two as pri_net, the asterisk is sitting between our ISDN (UK BT
EuroISDN30) and our phone system. We have 200 DDI numbers on the ISDN's and
I need to give one of our clients dial-in access to be able to monitor calls
we handle on their behalf. I've got ZapBarge working but I need to restrict

OT - how to get BT to present a number
If anyone can help me with this I'll be soooo grateful :)
We have a isdn30 line, with a DDI range. We also have 2 business units that
have separate 0870 numbers that are mapped onto 2 DDI numbers.
I would like to be able to present these 0870 numbers from the business
units so that the correct number is displayed on a callerid, or when 1471 is
dialled.
BT claim that I can only have a

Info on UK ISDN30e?
Hi :)
My employer is looking to move a call centre to a new office, and has
been increasingly frustrated with their legacy PBX (call-logging
licensing and hardware upgrade costs). So I've stepped forth as the
Open Source Pedant and suggested Asterisk so we can do all our own
CallerID / call logging / analyses, and make use of IP Phones /
teleworking, etc.
The problem begins in that I only

Advice on BT ISDN Services (UK)
Hi all,
I've been playing about with Asterisk for years now on and off, just SIP to SIP calls, using FWD and suchlike. I'm moving house at the beginning of September and have decided to build an Asterisk based system for my home office.
I'm in the UK and wonder if anyone can give me advice on lines and hardware to use. Had planned to go with an ISDN2e line coupled with a BT

UK experts only. BT Outgoing caller ID not showing
Hi
Just moved offices in the UK and moved our Asterisk box from old one to new
one. Using idefisk softphones, Junghanns quadbri card for ISDN 2e interfaces.
At both offices we had one standard number and a DDI range, routed with
Asterisk.
We'd set up the configuration so each idefisk set its own caller ID which then
got sent by the extensions.conf script. Worked fine at old place but in

GSM Hunting
Hi,
Need to implement hunting (create a hunt group so my
subscribers can have a single GSM number for access to
me)of GSM SIMs on a GSM bank independent of the Telco
for the SIMs.
Anyone got an EXACT idea how to do this?
Thanks,
Latex.

Providing Telewest in the UK with per extens ion outbound callerID
Would be nice to do both (type 2 and 3 I believe in Oftel terms), but I'd
accept just our DDI if that was all I could get.

OT: BRI ISDN question
I am going to try and use a passive AVM fritz BRI card for my * setup..
Here is the thing.. I need to order my BRI from BT.. The service that looks to be the one to use is what they call ISDN 2e becasue this has the option to setup hunt groups across multiple ISDN2e lines so I could add another line later to get 4 channels..
According to the BT website in order to use the hunt grouping across

Queue then Voicemail
Hi all,
I'm stuggling with how to present calleds to a specific DDI (DID) with Music on hold whilst the call is hunted around 3 phones, then if not answered within a certain period forwarded to voicemail.
So far I've got the queue working and the voicemail but not both together.
Ive had a look on the wiki and the archives but can't spot anything that might point me in the right

DAHDI: Inbound BRI call, DDI not presented
Hello-
I have a system with one D410P and one B200P (both OpenVox). All is
well with the D410P, inbound and outbound, and I can initiate calls on
the B200P BRI span, but there may be something wrong with my inbound
BRI setup: there is no indication of an inbound call when I dial in to
it from the PSTN.
When I run "pri intense debug" and make a call to the BRI span, I can
see a
