Hi, I am attempting to connect my dell SC420 to a 32" LCD at 1366x768. I have attached my currect config file and currect X start log. How do I massage the xorf file to run at the native resolution of the LCD? It currently runs but is in a virtual mode. The screen scrolls. Any help is appreciated. I am using Centos 4.1. Hi All - I was looking all over for xvidtune on Centos 8. could not find it. tried yum provides "*/xvidtune" tried yum search xvidtune Google pointed me to: https://centos.pkgs.org/8/centos-powertools-x86_64/xorg-x11-apps-7.7-21.el8.x86_64.rpm.html So I installed the apps and of course xvidtune is part of that. However just curious why the provides or search did not point me there ?

I have a dell inspiron 8200 laptop running centos 4.1 just fine. I want to connect it to an external 32 inch LCD. This laptop is dual boot windows. I set windows up to 1024x768 and connected the LCD - it worked just fine. LCD max is 1333x768 I then booted Centos 4.1 and set X to be 1024x768 also. rebooted the laptop just ot make sure. I then connected the LCD and it says can't display

The KDE screen savers will only blank out the screen though most of them test ok when you hit the test button in the Control Center. The Gnome screen savers work ok. My system has a Radeon 9200SE video card and I have a ViewSonic A70f monitor. Does anyone have a fix for this?

Hi, I am running CentOS 5.2 on Acer laptop, I try to display laptop screen on a LCD TV via VGA cable. It was fine while PC was booting in text mode, but as soon as I started X Window, the LCD TV has error "Unsupported signal, adjust your PC out". The SC420 does not support APIC (at least not with current BIOS). The Digium TDM400B card seems to always seek the same IRQ so it locks one down. The clone X100P cards often get a shared IRQ, even if vacant ones are available. I've found both the Digium card and the clones very frustrating with this system. We're using an SC420 and using BRI with a quadbri Junganns card, with IAX softphones and one hardphone. Working well except that we sometimes get dropped connections between IAX and the server with a max retries exceed message, which comes from the chan_iax driver code. The BRI side of things looks like it is fine. I had been thinking it might be a network issue but now wonder if it is an
