* and Cisco routers
I am completely new to * ( I know read the archives but this is a little
different case)
I am trying to setup a Sip system out side my security firewalls for home
users. I currently run a Cisco avvid solution internally but it's highly
firwalled. I am planning on building a pri out of my 3745 cisco router and
pluging it in to a 3810 which is on the outside setup with sip and running a

warning: toplevel constant XYZ referenced Admin:XYZ
I have an odd problem. I got controllers in a namespace and
controllers outside of the namespace. For example, I have a
PagesController and a Admin::PagesController.
When I run rspec from the top, tests pass and I get the following
warning:
spec/controllers/admin/pages_controller_spec.rb:4: warning: toplevel
constant PagesController referenced by Admin::PagesController
This makes no sense. I do

Network Sniffing Calls for recording
Ok assuming I don't want to record calls using * but instead want a
dedicated server that listens to a mirror port and records calls. Is there a
cheap software package out there for doing this for mgcp/sccp? I know if
evern cut over to * there is a way but I doubt I will even cut 100% over to
* so I was wonder what the list has heard of for call recording via sniffing
my gates. I know there

Any recomendations for Motherboards?
What socket AM2 motherboards out there work well with xen (i.e. support >
4G ram, sata and lan chipsets work).

I''d also like to see atleast 4 ram slots.
Anyone have any recomendations?
Thanks,
Doug

cheep laser printer recomendations
Hi!
I would like to hear what printers go good w/our operating system.
While back, I should have checked w/y'all like I'm doing now but I just
went ahead and bought a Konica-Minolta PagePro 1350W. Now that W at the
end of 1350 is a huge word that means WINDOWS! grrrr! It's a great
printer 21pgs/min etc but it doesn't like linux at all and their tech
spt will tell you as much. I

Recomendations
Dear Icecast community,
For several weeks I am running two IceCast2 streams.
I am very pleased with the stability and performance of the Icecast
application.
Thumbs-up for the developers of this great piece of software!!
The sources (live audio) are generated with two separated liveice-sn04 and
streams to the remote Icecast servers.
So far so good!
Frequently one of the sources stops to stream

warning: toplevel constant SomeController referenced by Admin::SomeController
This issue has been discussed before (http://www.ruby-forum.com/topic/
125392) and after spending a while debugging through this, I still
don''t have a solution. Lets try again?
I have two controllers, SomeController and Admin::SomeController. When
SomeController is loaded first (which happens under spork, found out
by editing ActiveSupport::AbstractController) I get warning: toplevel

Recomendations for utility to generate Asterisk configuration
I need some help generating configuration files for Asterisk. Since I'm
running under Solaris I'm having trouble with some of the utilities that
are more linux-centric.
Can anyone recommend a free/low-cost package to generate conf files that
is not linux-dependent and will handle a IAX2 and SIP trunk?

Web based project management recomendations
I was wondering if anyone can recommend an advanced to enterprise
class project management package (web based) that runs with a pretty
"vanilla" centos install. I would prefer to stick within the realm of
php/mysql (as I am not too familiar with the java servers), but would
venture there if the reasons were there to do so.
The approach is not software dev management, but rather

Monitoring Recomendations
I have a client that I have installed Dovecot 1.0.1 for is having
some performance issues. Especially when using IMAP from various
Outlook clients. I have TLS installed and all the IMAP connections
are secured.
I'm wondering is anyone has any recommendations for monitoring
dovecot performance. I'd like to try and nail down where the real
performance issues are. I suspect

Recomendations
Hi Ron,
I'd definitely recommend Ices - seems like the most robust little
thing in the world to me, although I'm not an expert, just a user. We
use it (ices0 actually, because we wanted MP3 broadcasting) to
broadcast our main radio stream at http://www.flatfourradio.co.uk and
no complaints at all.

VPN Server Recomendations
Hi Guys,
I'm looking for a VPN solution that will run on CentOS. I've used PopTop
with success but some clients have problems at hotels and other firewalled
locations.
If anyone can suggest something that works well with MS 2000/XP, doesn't
require too much tweaking on the client side and is fairly resiliant to
various firewall blocking, I'd be interested in hearing about it.

Redundancy recomendations?
I am working on a RoR project that fetches some of its data out of an
existing database. The database server is physically located in
Florida. When Wilma went through there were problems, I''m not sure how
much of it was server related or the network connections between
Illinois and Florida. Long story short we are now looking at deploying
a geographically seperate servers for both for the

Recomendations for an ISDN-PBX to use with asterisk
Hi,
I'm planning to buy a new ISDN-PBX (I hope this is the right term for an
ISDN phone system). I would also like to connect it to asterisk. As far
as I know there is no ISDN card where I can connect an ISDN-Phone to
directly working together with asterisk (please correct me if I'm
wrong). So what I was thinking of doing was to get a regular ISDN
PBX and add a second internal S0 bus

2x analog interface (1 ISDN and 1 door phone) recomendation for Europe ?
Hi,
I'd like to use Asterisk with ISDN interface and normal analog interface to
door phone (or any other low cost connection type to door phone).
What would be your recomendations for needed HW in Europe? Is it possible to
have this in one PCI card?
Are there any lower cost voip door phones?
Thanks in advance,
Robert.

How can I dial (0 + telephone number)
I connect Asterisk to my analog PBX using X100P. In my analog PBX, I need to dial 0 (zero) to pick up the line.
How can I use Dial command to dial (0 + telephone number) directly?
I used
exten => 10,1,Answer()
exten => 10,2,Dial(Zap/1/0)
exten => 10,3,Hangup
It works, but I need to dial 10 and after the ring tone, the telephone number
How can I do?
