RV: Not working!
You where SOO right.
My idea is to connect the "line" to my pbx and call from internet
(h323?) to my linux box, and then dial an extension.. Is there any doc
there? Cause Ive read a few and I did not get much really. I should
configure asterisk now and the job is done?

MAKEing zaptel and ztdummy on SuSE 9.3 - Repost
Hi,
Sorry to re-post, but I'm still having hassles with ztdummy. I'm using
kernel 2.6.11.4-21.7-smp and Asterisk 1.0.8 on SuSE 9.3
The first 3 makes (see below) for zaptel work out ok - but the
ztdummy.ko (etc) files *are* created even though I haven't yet
uncommented ztdummy in Makefile.
If the ztdummy bits are compiled, why edit Makefile & run make again?

modprobe ztdummy failed
Hello-
I've been trying to scour both * and linux user group
archives for a solution to this particular problem, but I am
just plan stuck. I got the latest zaptel sources from cvs,
uncommented ztdummy.o in Makefile, ran make; make install
then, did depmod -a. All is well up until now.
When i do modprobe ztdummy, i get this error:
dv@sidetrack:/usr/local/src/zaptel# depmod -a

zaprtc install problem
Hi,
I'm trying to intall zaprtc on my machine (I don't have UHCI_USB nor Zaptel)
and I have a strange behaviour during loading.
When I do >make load
I have :
./zaprtc.o: init_module: Input/ouput error
With a quick dmesg got:
rtc: I/O port 112 in not free
Is someone have any idea to solve this ?
I saw on the README file that rtc support should not be enabled in the
kernel,
but I

Hi all,
Trying to build ztdummy on an old redhat 7.3 box running kernel

I set them up with make oldconfig; make dep.

ztdummy on Gentoo 2.6.10 Box
Hi Everyone,
I read through the list on the issues with the ztdummy driver which I
need for MeetMe, but I seem to have come across a problem that I cannot
seem to find an answer for.
I am running Gentoo 2.6.10 on an Intel box.
I have read the the wiki entries on the ztdummy and followed the
instructions as they relate to the 2.6 kernel.
Everything compiled great, but a modprobe ztdummy

ztdummy running, but moh & meetme don't work
Any thoughts on the following?
I am running asterisk from CVS (downloaded yesterday's
version, just to be sure) on a test system with no
digium cards in it, so I have installed ztdummy (see
logs and screenshots below) as a timing source.
When I call the music on hold extension from a Sipura
Sip connected analog phone, I hear nothing and start

zaptelrtc for 2.6.x
Hello,
i would like to use Meetme and i need zaptelrtc for that, since i dont
have any USB devices or a card from digium.
I compiled it on Llinux 2.6.8 and all i got was a zaprtc.o which obviously
wont work with a 2.6 kernel:
~/zaptelrtc# make load
sync
modprobe zaptel
insmod ./zaprtc.o

Hi,
I had problems described in another thread so went from a start, but now
have problems when loading qozap module. I get :

and in /var/log/messages:

Problem compiling ztdummy on centos 4, 2.6 kernel
Hi all,
I hope everyone is doing well. I just joined the list, and I've really
enjoyed all I have read about asterisk so far. Unfortunately, I'm having a
bit of trouble implementing this thing :).
By the way ... I did my best to search the forums, and also to use google
extensively, and while I have found pages with people with the same problem,
... The fix suggested on those sites,

asterisk dials wrong numbers ?!?
Hi,
I've got an important question:
I use an E100P directly connected to PSTN, but it does not *really* work as it should
be:
exten => 1000,1,Dial(Zap/1/1234)
BUT: It does NOT dial "1234" but it says in debug mode:

Sound quality issue in one direction and wctdm problem with APIC enabled kernel
I'm chasing down a pop/click type of disturbance on a PBX system.
Strangely, the disturbance is only heard by the outside caller, the
internal recipient hears the caller crystal clear. This seems to have
crept up when upgrading the zaptel driver to the 1.2 series while
running 1.0.10. I went ahead and upgraded the entire system to 1.2.4.
The system is a ~2Ghz AMD 32bit system, with 512MB of
