Re: Managing VMs across multiple physical hosts
Looks like an interesting project for a number of reasons. Do you guys have a mailing list though? Cos I’ve run into a couple of installation issues that I need assistance resolving. -Daniel > On Apr 25, 2016, at 8:17 AM, Markos Gogoulos <mgogoulos@mist.io> wrote: > > Hi Daniel, > > mist.io is an open source project and a Saas for managing clouds, servers and KVM

Re: Managing VMs across multiple physical hosts
Hi Daniel, mist.io is an open source project and a Saas for managing clouds, servers and KVM hypervisors. The open source version can be found on https://github.com/mistio/mist.io Feel free to open issues on what is missing from an ideal KVM management solution. Unencypted Passwords problem
I am having difficulties in two areas regarding unencrypted passwords. The first is I added the use Administrator to the unix box, and I can log in from the console, however I cannot log in from a LANMANAGER client. The second thing is that accounts in the unix passwd file that have null passwords can't login to the samba server either. Is there a solution to either of these problems; if

Missing text issue in CCNP test application

The wine version is 1.2.2, the OS is xubuntu In the quiz preferences the two font options are arial and times new roman I am guessing that it just can't find these fonts, but i am not exactly sure where i should be putting them. I have installed MStruetype fonts but

Managing VMs across multiple physical hosts
Hello List, We’re currently managing VMs across approximately 26 physical hosts. We tend to migrate VMs around a lot to do things like spread load and keep VMs running when physical hosts are in need of package updates. Suffice it to say sometimes finding out which physical host a VM is currently running on can be a pain. Anyone know of an open source tool that will give me a snapshot of

how many quad T1 cards
Jerry, back in August you were thinking about putting 4 T1 cards in a single box--did you end up doing that and how did it work out? We're looking at 700-800 lines for an app and are trying to figure out how many machines we'll need. Has anyone else done more than 2 quad T1 cards? -- Scott Plante, CTO Insight Systems, Inc. trouble loading R function code
I created an R function offline with a text editor and saved it as fhv.R When I type in load(file="fhv.R") I get the message Error: bad restore file magic number (file may be corrupted)-- no data loaded I've checked the file, and it opens up fine in Notepad and other text editors. I also tried this from another folder and got the same message. What's going on? Thanks in advance.

Stuttered Dialtone for multiple extensions
Hey all..I'm looking to start with a single FXS card but with 3 extensions for VM purposes only. I'd like to know if there is a way that you can have different stuttering dialtones depending on which extension has a VM. For example If x103 and x104 have VM can there be a distinctly different stutter for each mail box and have them play back at once or back to back so that when you

database tables
I have been assigned a task of building a front end to a database that has already been created. All the database tables have the naming convention of lclclcClclclc. For example; tblComputerNames. How do i get around this in rails since it likes lower case table names to keep with its naming conventions for classes and objects? Mitch Mitch Raful MCSE, CCNP Network Engineer MCCS Quantico

Announce of our Xen project; Routing simulation with Einar
Hello all, Some time before Christmas, a project was started. The task was to enhance an existing LiveCD solution with User-mode Linux. A number of requirements was stated, where the greatest challenge was to fit 10 virtual routers within an old no-name PC with only 256MB Ram. And the solution must still be run from a LiveCD. Thanks to Xen, the task was possible to complete. -But, what does it

sedwards@sedwards.com causes me to be knocked off the list
Someone on this list uses the address @sedwards.com I doubt this is their actual email address as there is no MX record for sedwards.com and I can't find registration for their domain either. Part of my mail servers reject these emails because they cannot be replied to, or are likely to be spam. Every so often I get a mail from the list management to say that I've been unsubscribed

change the height or scale of the y axis
Hallo, All, I have a question about changing the height or scale of the y axis. When I use following two R codes, I can get two plots. Please look at the y axes, the number of indices (x1, x2, ?) on the y axis in the first plot is smaller than that in the second plot, and hence the space between any two indices in the first plot is wider than that in the second plot. As the number of indices
