T1 Timing Slips
Does anyone know how to monitor * to see if they are receiving timing slips
on a span connected to a T100P card? I am seeing b-channel restarts quite
often and also getting "No D-channels available" warnings from time to time.
Yesterday I had all the b-channels crash during a MeetMe Conference. Not
good! This PRI is connected to an Avaya Definity PBX that is onsite and

T1 configuration, getting help via IRC?
In my * server I have a T100P, connected with a T1 crossover cable to an
Adtran TA750 with 2 FXO cards. After I do 'modprobe wct1xxp;ztcfg' the
alarm on the card starts blinking red. Running zttool confirmed that
yes, it is a red alarm. I've read a few previous posts on this type of
setup and I'm not too much closer. What should I be checking next? A
different cable? The

possible solution to PRI T100P dropped call issue
To recap:
T100P card wouldn't sync with the telco using line side
clocking ( span=1,1,0.........)
Had to use internal clocking (span=1,0,0.......)
zttool showed Tx/Rx Levels as 0/ 1
For the grins of it I replaced the T100P card with
another newer card from inventory.
This newer card has the same rev on the ASIC / FPGA
but doesn't have any of the various jumper headers
installed

Sync Source: Internally clocked
Hi whatever I set the span line to in zaptel.conf
ie span=1,0,0,ccs,hdb3,crc4
span=1,1,0,ccs,hdb3,crc4
span=1,2,0,ccs,hdb3,crc4
zttool always shows
Sync Source: Internally clocked
surely this cannot be correct.

New T100P Pri install suggestions?
In the next week or so, we'll be turning up a new T1 Pri from Cox Cable
in Omaha using a T100P (installed but not yet configured). While discussing
the interface parameters with a very knowledgable Cox engineer, we decided
on some of the basics including b8zs, esf, dchan=24, callerid, 5 digits
of called number forwarded to *, and switchtype=national (NI2). They
indicated their CO switch is a

BRIstuff - synchronization with PSTN?
Hello,
for a long time I've been having problems with analog modems and faxes
communicationg over ISDN BRI lines. Now I began to suspect that this is
due to * being out of sync with the PSTN. I have a quadBRI card with
first two ports connected to PSTN, and defined as follows:
span=1,1,0,ccs,ami
span=2,2,0,ccs,ami
This should mean that spans 1 and 2 are used as primary and secondary

E100P
Hi, i just received an E100P, this is the first one I have ever seen,
and notice that the board reads T100P. Is this right ? The antistatic
bag had a small label that has E100P written on it, and the card is a
bit different than the T100P I already have, Does Digium use the same
boards for both cards ? I don't have an E1 link here, can I test the
card just by loading the driver and run

T1 config for robbed-bit E&M AMI
I have a couple of live T1s sitting around and they are not ISDN(like most
of the people that are using Asterisk seem to be using), they are regular
old 24 channel, robbed-bit, E&M wink start, D4AMI T1 circuits.
Can I get these T1s to work with a T100P Digium card and asterisk?
Searching through the lists and the documentation I haven't seen any
examples of how to configure this kind

Two zaptel T1 cards: no clock from one
List,
I have a TE410P (T1 mode, all PRI) and a T100P (fxoks, for fxs channel
bank). I cannot seem to get the T100P to send any clock to the
channel bank. I prefer that it use the same clock source as the
TE410P, but it doesn't matter if it's not in sync just as long as it's
there.
The TE410P is configured 3x pri_cpe, 1x pri_net. The three cpe go to

T100P No D-channels
Hi
Last week I installed Asterisk (release1) with digium t100p single span T1
(wct1xxp) board on Dell GX270 pc configured for PRI. Asterisk/t100p is
currently the only user of the t1 line. All worked well for about a half a
day, PSTN to SIP phones to non-SIP IP phones etc. Alas, since then I
consistently get multitudes of blue alarms on all b-channels followed by a
loss of d-channel:

Cannot get two TE410Ps to operate correctly in the same machine
I've been running Asterisk for months with no problems. I have grown to
the point where I need an aditional TE cards. After many attempts I was
able to add the second card without affecting the performance of the
first. However, the second card is not working properly.

Channel Bank Frustrations
I'm trying to get a Carrier Access Corp. Channel Bank I working with a
Digium T100P without success.
What is stranger is that the status lights on the channel bank and T100P
seem to change almost each time I power cycle the channel bank or reset the
T100P.
The channel bank has three status lights: T1, Framing, Status. T1 is green,
Status is yellow, and Framing is usually red but sometime

Wildcard remote looping
Is there something special that needs to be done to allow a T100P/T400
to respond to a remote loop request?
I am having some issues with a Point to point T1 line using zaptel ppp.
This line gave us small problems when we had a pair of Cisco 2600's on
either end but now with the zaptel ppp it is going down every couple of
minutes for 15 intervals.
The phone company says the line is good to

How to fix a Blue Alarm?? Line Noise?
We are having line noise issues in our Asterisk to legacy PBX integration.
All SIP calls originating from IP phones sound crystal clear. All calls that
originate from the legacy PBX (Isoetec 228) and route through the Asterisk
and out SIP have a lot of line noise.
I believe I have it pinned down to these Blue Alarm errors that I can see on
the legacy PBX side. zttool shows no alarm but when I

Problem with T100P card in a new chassis
Due to some failed hardware on another platform, I've had to move a
T100P card to a different chassis. After this move was completed, I
am seeing some strange results on the T100P card that do not display
to me any failure mode with which I am familiar. The card comes up,
and shows "good" carrier and status, but Asterisk refuses to bring
the D-channel up. Calls of course do
