CentOS 4.2 hangs at power-on boot
I've just installed CentOS 4.2 on a brand-new PC. It appears to be working fine except for one thing: When the system is first powered on, the boot sequence hangs after Starting udev: Initializing hardware ... storage network audio If I then hit the reset button, it reboots and successfully proceeds. Looking at rc.sysinit and the output of kmodule, it would appear that the problem is

NTP Service Running on Local Host does not Sync System Time
Hi List I have ntp running as a service on a PC, with the expectation that it would keep time in synch to my ntp server. However, while I can manually update the time using "ntpdate -u ...", I find that if I manually force the wrong time, the ntpd service does not automatically re-synch the system time with the ntp server: - Current time: [admin at lol ~]# date Wed Jan 27 10:54:21

TE-405P freezing, anyone else?
Hello list, I have about 20 Digium TE-405Ps out in the field, and I started having trouble with one just recently. The card had worked fine for a month with 4 PRIs in NFAS configuration, and then all of a sudden I started getting a disappearing D channel. A restart of asterisk / ztcfg /module unload-load did not fix the problem, but a reboot [not power off, just a restart] would bring it

X100P/ATA186 not playing nicely...
Howdy y'all, I am using an ATA-186, through Vonage, connected to my X100P. It works well - except, hanging up... The hangup doesn't register, most of the time, with Asterisk. Are there any known tweaks out there that I should look into? I've noted some have altered dsp.c, and rebuilt. Just curious to see what y'all think. Below is my zapata.conf file:: [channels]

[LLVMdev] Phabricator update
Heya, if you wonder why phabricator is down - it's an upgrade that is running a database update that takes a while (probably 3-5 more hours). I'll update this thread once it's finished and phab is up again. Cheers, /Manuel -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

PATCH: Public key authentication defeats passwd age warning.
All, I tried to sign up for this list a few weeks ago, but I don't think it worked. After I confirmed my intention to be on the list, I only got one single message from someone on the list, and that was it. So, either this is a particularly quiet list, or my subscription was dropped somehow just after it was made. So, if you could kindly CC me directly on any responses to this, I sure would
