T100P to Adtran TA750 - No dialtone or ring
Hello all, I've got a T100P connected to an Adtran TA750 with a T1 crossover... This connects to a patch panel with phone ports. The Adtran is fully populated with FXS cards. All I get on any phone port is a fast clicking noise... No dialtone. Asterisk 'sees' the card, (the channels show up in /proc/zaptel). Incoming calls are routed to the zap/x channel, but no ring. I'm

TA750 + T100P configuration. flashing red alarm on t100p after running modprobe wct1xxp, ztcfg
(to mods: sorry for any extra work I've put you through. Posting from my work account, as proper) Hello all, I'm back. I've got that lucky feeling that this will all work out very soon, and I hope that that is true. The issue: In my * server I have a t100P, connected with a T1 crossover cable to an Adtran TA750 with 2 FXO cards. After I do 'modprobe wct1xxp;ztcfg' the alarm

Adtran TA750 & T100P
Hello, So all the pieces are finally here, and I'm ready to play. I remember reading on this list that the connection Channel Bank <-> T100P requires a "reverse cable." Is this a regular Ethernet reverse cable (i.e., only a couple of pairs reversed?) Please help me before I blow something up! Saludos, Jose.

DID line with Adtran TA750 and T100p
Hello, I new to this, but with the help of mailing lists archives and IRC I am able to build my PBX. Thanks to all who had help me to reach till here. I am stuck at a point where I can't find the solution on mailing lists or even on IRC. I have individual 4 DID (Direct Inward Line) coming from Telco and terminating into TA 750 to FXS card. Many of them told that Phone instrument terminates

T1 configuration, getting help via IRC?
In my * server I have a T100P, connected with a T1 crossover cable to an Adtran TA750 with 2 FXO cards. After I do 'modprobe wct1xxp;ztcfg' the alarm on the card starts blinking red. Running zttool confirmed that yes, it is a red alarm. I've read a few previous posts on this type of setup and I'm not too much closer. What should I be checking next? A different cable? The

Static Problem (t100p - Channel Bank)
Hello, We keep having a really bad static problem on phone calls completed using a Adtran TA750 and T100P card. The phones are Polycom IP 500 phones and, it occurs across all phones. Not just one. Everything appears to be on it's own interrupt. I noticed the last time we did this, we rewired everything to make sure it wasn't an electrical issue. Well about a month and a half later

NEWBIE looking for advice.
All, Thanks for taking time to read. I am wanting someone to tell me that I have a clue here and that the following proposed setup would (possibly) work. Currently existing are 4 pots lines with qty. 10 AT&T 954/854 phones. Would like to convert to asterisk and at the same time do a mild feature upgrade. Proposing to get: PIII 800MHz or better >=256MB RAM

Q: Does anyone have a WE multi-line card dialer phone working with *?
Folks, I recently obtained a Western Electric multi-line phone and am seeking help with getting this beast working with *. The interesting stuff in my * implementation consists of a T100P card, a TDM400P card, and an Adtran TA750 channel bank with three quad-port FXS modules and a quad-port FXO. The TA750 is wired to a 24-port Cat 5 patch panel via a 25-pair Amp cable. The phone is a model

Echo Canceller Wiring (Tellabs.. HOWTO..?)
Hello, I have been researching Echo Can's for a while now, and wanted to post this out to the list to solicit feedback (and if my assumptions are correct, hopefully help others out)... If anyone out there knows anything about wiring up an Echo Can, and my outline below is incorrect, please let the me/list know.. I have posted the Documents I received from Tellabs at:

Tellabs 2572 Configuration Advice?
Can anyone share any advice / documentation on how to configure a Tellabs 2572 T1 echo canceller? I connected one between a T100P and an Adtran TA750 FXO/FXS channelbank, but when echo cancellation is active I get a LOT of snap-crackle-pop (and other problems) on the line. The 2572 has a bunch of configuration options and they're impossible to guess without documentation, which I cannot find

\ Adtran Channel Bank? - Email found in subject
Jay, I have had a lot of trouble with the FXO ports on Adtran TA750. Unless the incoming POTS lines have a balance impedance, they will buzz very bad. Gregory P. Problem on Outgoing Calls (FXO - SIP)
Hello, We have a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls that come in via our analog POTS lines connected to FXO cards in an Adtran TA750. This is connected to a T100P. We are using Polycom IP 500's. The problem we are experiencing is, on frequent occasions, when someone dials out, there is another person who has just dialed in. I have had this problem at my house before (without an *

T100p half-height PCI bracket
Hello, Does anybody know of a place to get a half-height PCI slot bracket for the Digium T100P card? I have an application to fit them in 1U cases for small, deployable PBX's. The T100P itself is short enough to fit in a half-height slot but I need an appropriate mounting bracket to screw it into the case. Thanks, Mark Hagler

Beeps and noises during calls
I have a very annoying problem that we hear on our end, but the other party doesn't hear. There are random beeps and echo type noises that occur. They are present during voicemails, and present on my end during calls. Is anyone experiencing the same deal? I have asked this a number of ways on the list, and never get a response... Thank you. T100P-E100P circuit board differences
Hi- Perhaps someone with an E100P in hand can answer this: I just received an E100P from Digium (I normally buy quad boards) I noticed that the circuit board says "T100P" on it, and I assume that the T100P and E100P both use the same circuit board. Can someone please confirm that their E100P says "T100P" on the artwork? Thanks Scott Scott M. Stingel Emerging Voice

motherboard for T100P
anyone have a recommendation for a place I can buy cheap motherboards that supports those 64-bit 3.3 volt PCI slots for the T100P ? I can't find them at Fry's or anywhere locally. All I can find online is dual processor server boards that are overkill for this application. I would like to use a P3/ P4/ AMD single processor. No Xeons or dual processor junk. Anyone know why digium

T100P positional on PCI bus?
I'm about to install a second T100P card in my asterisk system, and now I'm wondering how the system determines span-1 vs span-2. Does the position on the PCI bus determine this? TIA Mike

T100P & Phones Configuration
Below you will find, what I believe to be a typical setup with a T100P card. My question is - 1. Is this correct? 2. What kind of phones would be needed here... (Would you have to use Digital phones) And if so what would you recommend. PRI/T1----- | | | ---------------- | | | Channel Bank | | |

possible solution to PRI T100P dropped call issue
To recap: T100P card wouldn't sync with the telco using line side clocking ( span=1,1,0.........) Had to use internal clocking (span=1,0,0.......) zttool showed Tx/Rx Levels as 0/ 1 For the grins of it I replaced the T100P card with another newer card from inventory. This newer card has the same rev on the ASIC / FPGA but doesn't have any of the various jumper headers installed

asterisk T100P to Merlin Legend
Management just approved purchase of a Digium T100P and a T1 card for our Merlin Legend Switch. I will appreciate comments from anyone performing this installation before: - Which T1 card did you use in the Merlin Legend? - Did you require any special interface? (CSU/DSU, etc) - Any items to watch during installation. Also we will need to remove one of our old analog Trunk cards to accomodate
