IVR sample config?
Can someone point me to some reasonable example / starting point to implement a basic IVR menu? Looking for something rather simple like the press 1 for sales, 2 for tech support, and probably an option to list the voicemail directory kind of thing. Nothing elaborate needed, just basic menu. (Yes, I did look at the wiki and google searched for "ivr menu".)

Bandwidth ? + Doc + cdr
Hi, How much bandwidth do I need for 1 conversation ? I know it depends on the codecs, in X-lite I can see a codec called gsm, and the grandstream aha analog/ip converter have a codec called 721. IVR No sound on other provider
Hi All, I have setup 2 trunks using 2 different voip providers using sip. the first one i have no problem calling inbound then redirected to an IVR, i can hear the IVR. the second one has issues, inbound works going to IVR as i can see it on the CLI, but i don't hear anything. i tried redirecting it to an extension not an IVR just to see if inbound really works, and it rings the

How to stop IVR once system receives DTMF?

DTMF issue on IVR
Hi All, I encountered a DTMF problem. We have an IVR built on Asterisk 1.0.7 with RedHat 9. When the caller calls into our IVR, and IVR plays the first prompt and asks caller to dial four-digit extension. Caller has to dial slowly, otherwise, Asterisk cannot recognize the extension number. Stress Testing IVR
Hi, How can I stress test an asterisk IVR? I am looking for some kind of sip phone which can be "programmed" to send out digits after specified time to simulate users pressing menu items. IVR: playing multiple streams simultaneously?

Astersk as AVAYA IVR

Are IVR and "Auto Attendant" interchangeable terms? They both do the "Press 1 for" thing. Sales is asking me how to word it and I've always used both terms interchangeably.
