How many X100P's in a system..
I know the recommendation it to not run more than 2 T/E100P's in a system but what about X100P's.. Usually there are 5 PCI slots in a system, has anyone tried 5 x X100P's in a system? Just upgraded from multiple X100P's to a T100P
Hi. I've got a few questions on moving from X100P's to a single T100P. I've installed the cards, they're recognized by the OS<FC 1 box> as well as asterisk. When placing a call I am getting the following: Nov 24 14:17:15 VERBOSE[-1101243472]: Asterisk Ready. -- Accepting AUTHENTICATED call from 192.168.220.10, requested format = 256, actual format = 256 Nov 24

79xx's and call queues
Hey, I'm testing out some call queues. I have 7940's and 7960's with the SIP 7.4image. I have a queue that looks something like: [testqueue] strategy = rrmemory timeout = 15 retry = 5 weight = 0 announce-frequency = 0 joinemtpy = yes reportholdtime = yes I dynamically add a phone or two to the queue (AddQueueMember, not agents). When a caller calls in, connections are made and

Concept for line appearances and bridging: anyone?
OK, here's a configuration challenge: I want to have certain line appearances able to be "interrupted" by various other line apperances elsewhere in the office. This is harder to describe than it is to demonstrate, so I'll do that: Let's assume I have Cisco 7960's on all desks. 1) Call comes from inbound line X destined on extension 1234 2) Phones A, B, C all

AJAX - update item forms problem
I have a table showing some records from the database. These records should be always ordered by some datetime field. The list of items is changed by AJAX using RJS scripts and edits are done by showing and hiding an update form under a chosen row. Adding and updating rows works great but my problem is when the order of items is changed after making some AJAX datetime updates update forms of

How many X100P's in a system.
From what I understand, shared interrupts are permitted on the PCI bus. Whether they work for a specific card or not depends entirely on how the driver is written. Someone at Digium should know this. -- Stephen R. Besch, Ph.D. SachsLab 320 Cary Hall SUNY at Buffalo Buffalo, NY 14214 (716) 829-3289 x106

NewbieQ: SOHO setup with x100p
After scouring the list archive and not finding the answer I decided to post to the list. I'm sure the answer is glaringly obvious but please bear with me. Using Asterisk, I'm tasked with setting up a SOHO with 5 analogue (FXS?) lines and a number of soft-phones for internal extensions. I'm confused by the telephony hardware needed for this exercise - 1) I need the equivalent of two

X100P random hangups.
I have a couple of X100P's in my system and while on calls they just randomly hang up for no reason. I have tried messing with the busydetect and callprogress setting them to yes and no same and still random hangups. Is there another setting I should be looking at? My zap config looks like. context = inbound-work include => extensions signalling

X100P Burnouts
Thought I would post this experience to the list so it's archived for posterity... My company is deploying Asterisk-based PBX's to all of our branch offices. Each office has 2 analog Voice lines and a fax line. We didn't want to go to the expense of using TDM400's in the servers (which run asterisk and Hylafax) so we opted for 2 X100P cards in each box. So far they have

6.0 image for Cisco 7960's?
Has anyone managed to get their hands on a 6.0 image for their 7960's yet? Or is it still in beta? Rumor (official rumor, from Cisco) is that it supports paging and intercom. I'm anxious to start working with those features, if they've been implemented sanely. What would be just as nice would be NOTIFY messages for pushing XML URL's to the phones, but sadly that feature

Number of Digium cards in one box...
I know, I know, check the archives but I can't find an answer since the new cards are well, NEW! I understand the whole issue of expandability and flexibility of using a T1 card and an Adtran 750. FXO or FXS, you mix and match. With the new card offerings from Digium I can easily put a 4CO by 8 Station system together. Barring the extra interrupts, extra CPU Cycles of extra interfaces, is

* or X100P dropping analog calls
I have a * box running * version 1.0.3 with two X100P line cards in it and Cisco 7960 IP phones. Everything seems to work pretty well with the exeption that the system hangs up on phone calls for no apparent reason. It does this on both incoming and outgoing calls through the POTS line (currently only have one). The only thing in the asterisk console with maximum verbousity is " -- Hungup

Why should I answer a Newbie question, there thick!
It would be nice just for once to actually use a mailing list with people who are a little more sympathetic to the fact that your not a rocket scentist or molecular biologist and that you might actually need some help, without being made to feel like your completely useless and should be cleaning toilets for a living. "Ahhh man not another stupid newbie question! are these people completely

Re: Asterisk-Users Digest, Vol 12, Issue 171
The cheap ones on EBay won't work with the SC420 server. I have one and can't make any of the clones work. I do have one TDM40B card for analog stations that works well. The problem with the SC420 is that it won't let you set the interrupts yourself and you end up with interrupts being shared. =============================================================== Message: 26 Date:

[LLVMdev] Goog test-cases for a new register allocator
Hi, As I mentioned some time ago on the mailing list, I'm working on the implementation of the Sarkar's Extended Linear Scan algorithm for LLVM. For testing and debugging of this algorithm, I need some good test-cases that check different functionalities of the register allocator, e.g.: - test-cases involving a lot of spilling - test-cases using pre-colored registers, e.g. like the EAX
