Strange Zaptel Modprobe driver failure
Hello, my first post to the list. I have started to install and play with
Asterisk. I was following some basic instructions to 'jump-start' my
system. I have a TDM400P with one port and a X100P.
I am running the latest CVS versions (from today).
Following the steps I found for basic jump-start I did the following:
Modprobe zaptel
Modprobe wcfxo
Modprobe wcfxs

TDM cards and Asterisk
I have put a box together using 2 X100P and 2 TDM400 4port cards.
Using the simple setup that Martin posted a few days ago, I have
asterisk almost up and running.
/etc/zaptel.conf
fxsks=1-2
fxoks=3-10
loadzone=nz
defaultzone=nz
(I have added NZ tone information to zaptel and Asterisk - I'll submit a
patch soon).

Beginners help
Hi,
I recently purchased two X100Ps and a TMD40B. I have set everything up
according to the instructions however I can't get asterisk to pick up an
incoming call (It just keeps ringing). Also, when I pick up an internal
extension I get dead air. I searched the mailing list for 3+ hours -- What
am I missing?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Here are the installion steps that I used:

RE: Asterisk-Users digest, Vol 1 #3413 - 14 msgs
I have two grandstream budtetone-100 and cisco 7960g phones. When I talk via speaker phone on either of the phones I get a lot of echo. Any suggestions? Also how do I turn on the mark echo canceller.

zaptel config
Hi,
Sorry, in my last mail I wrote "wcfxs" instead of what I actually used, "wcfxo." I just got two digium x100p clones and installed asterisk on fedora
core 2 which took some tweaking. After getting asterisk up I installed
the zaptel stuff - then modprobed zaptel, wcfxo,
which worked fine. ztcfg is showing two channels configured, but when I

Non-PRI T1 showing red
Could anyone with any experience with * over a non-PRI T1 help this newbie?
I have a fractional T1 that is working fine through a channel bank, but I
can't get any response on * using a T400P. My analog line and the extensions
work fine, but the T400P port 1 shows a red led (what exactly does that tell
me?). I brought up zttool which shows a condition red also, but ztcfg shows
nothing amiss.

How to load the driver of TDM400P card!
Hi!
I have just bought the X100P and TDM400P cards to install on my computer
to implement the PBX. I also downloaded the newest softwares
asterisk_ver0.5.0, libpri_ver0.4.0, and zaptel_ver0.7.0) to install on
my computer (Red Hat Linux 8.0). All packages are compiled well. When I
use "modprobe" to load drivers (modprobe zaptel, modprobe wcfxo,
modprobe
wcfxs), the first two (zaptel,
