dialing out with the outgoing queue problem.
Hi,
I have cvs updated all my modules (zapata, libpri, zaptel and asterisk).
I have also read in the archives & seems that no-one has run into this
problem.
What I'm trying to do is simple. Just make and outbound call using the
/var/spool/asterisk/outgoing directory.
I copied /usr/src/asterisk/sample.call and only changed the context &
extension.
I configured my Zap1 to the same

Dial out from script. Mini predictive dialer
Howdy,
I need some pointers (ideas or help) to build a solution to retrieve
recordings out of an IVR.
The program needs to do some predictive dialing functions I only need it to:
1) Be able on it's own to make a call (to the same number inside this
script).
2) Detect that the call has been answered and that it has finished.
I need some sort of AGI but it needs to run on it's own, i.e.

Wildcard TDM400P (TDM40B) connectors
Hi,
I'm no phone guy but I've been having quite a bit of fun messing with
Asterisk. I just unwrapped my new Wildcard TDM400P (TDM40B) which is the new
4 port FXS PCI card. It has 4 RJ45 connectors and I'd like to hookup 4
regular phones which are RJ11. If I crip RJ45 connectors to the phone cords
do I simple use the center two pins (pins 4 and 5)?
Thanks,
Randy Smith

FC11 and pv_ops kernel
Is there a version of the pv_ops kernel that will do HVM and work with
fc11? I have been failing miserably trying to get it to work. I have
followed Boris''s guide at:

But have had no success so far. I am wanting to know what is the

IAXTEL toll-free gateway
I have been playing around with asterisk for a week or so now and
haven't had too much trouble getting things to work but one thing seems
to puzzle me. I have been patient hoping that there was a configuration
error on the server or that the toll-free gateway was down but nothing
has changed. I have the following configuration context for IAXTEL:

How to hookup to cell phone for outbound calls?
Hi
I need a small PBX for use on the move. This means that outbound calls
will need to be made over the cell phone network.
Assuming a small hardware PBX with a spare mini-PCI slot or a USB slot
then what hardware options do I have to get an outbound cellular
channel? Options need to be rock solid, so no bluetooth to a cell phone
kind of solutions need apply.
Can any of the 3G usb

Debian Testing / 2.4.22 / zaptel problems.
I'm having trouble getting zaptel to work on Debian Testing (Sarge) with a

How to remove OST permanently?
All,
I''ve added a new 2.2 TB OST to my cluster easily enough, but this new
disk array is meant to replace several smaller OSTs that I used to have
of which were only 120 GB, 500 GB, and 700 GB.
Adding an OST is easy, but how do I REMOVE the small OSTs that I no
longer want to be part of my cluster? Is there a command to tell luster
to move all the file stripes off one of the nodes?

/dev/pts linking option?
Folks,
Does anyone know whether libvirt provides a means for me to guarantee a
persistent link for my guest's virtual serial console? I need to have a
consistent mapping (for example, a symlink that always points to the
correct /dev/pts entry) so I can automate kgdb hookup on boot.

Renato,
When I tried running "opcontrol --start" (after previously running
"opcontrol --start-daemon") in dom0, I get this error message:

and this message in the Xen console:
