Greetings, I am running Asterisk with a T100P and a Zhone channel bank for over a month now. For the most part it works fine but from time to time (about once a week) the system will not let go of a line and will play the greeting over and over. Anyone calling gets a busy signal. If I reset Asterisk everything works fine. Has anyone seen this problem before and fixed it? If so what did you do?

Does anyone know if there are any plans for Zapata or anyone else for that matter to come out with a 3.3v PCI version or PCI-X version of those cards? Gene

I'm looking to add a single FXO port to my Asterisk box. It looks like my options are a Digium Wildcard X100P off eBay for $6.99, or a Wildcard TDM400P with an FXO Module from Digium for $125. Can anyone explain the tradeoffs (other than the ability to put 4 FXO/FSO modules on the TDM400P). What about RTC for the system - I know the TDM400P provides it. Does the X100P? Thanks!

I'm thinking of placing Asterisk on an itx motherboard in a tiny case. The ITX motherboards top out around 400Mhz PII (in terms of power relative to a desktop). How much CPU would I need for an office of 50 people? How much disk storage for voicemail + OS? Has anyone had any experience using asterisk for a 911 call center? Does anyone know of any reason why it would not be suitable? As far as I know all 911 call routing takes place at the CO switch so a regular T1 line should work fine.
