Commands to upgrade to latest Libpri? can I upgrade without touching Asterisk?
Hi Guys,
I have to upgrade to latest Libpri 1.4.10.2 due to an existing bug in the
current 1.4.10 version. I am running Asterisk 1.4.x (in fact it is a
PBXinaFLASH system).
How can I upgrade to the latest Libpri? Do I need to re-install Asterisk?
Won't that break the box?
Can I simply do this to upgrade:
*rm /usr/src/libpri/*.**
*rm -rf /usr/src/libpri/**
Download the new libpri and put

I am current running on a production system
zaptel 1.4.12.1
libxpri 1.4.1
asterisk 1.4.25
The above configuration works.
I tried to update to dahdi 2.2.0, libpri 1.4.7 and asterisk 1.4.25
This did not work. calls came in but not out. I dropped back to the
initial configuration.
Today, I dried only updating libpri on the original configuration.

Asterisk 10/1.6.1 and Dahdi/Libpri compatilities in BRI /PtmP
Hi,
After an upgrade, I discovered yesterday strange things I would like
to share here.
Basically, I'me comparing platforms:
The first one is a 2.6.26 (Debian Lenny) platform, with Asterisk
1.6.1.18, Libpri 1.4.10.2, Dahdi revision 8853 (must be between 2.3
and 2.5, I think).
The second one is a 2.6.32 (Debian Squeeze) platform, with Asterisk
10.5.1, Libpri 1.4.12, Dahdi 2.6.1.
Both are

some issue with libpri cant go past 1.4.1
I have a working system with asterisk 1.4.26.2 libpri 1.4.1 and zaptel
1.4.12.1
With a digium TE205p.
I am trying to update to libpri 1.4.10.2. When I do, incoming calls work
but outgoing does not.
When I do this I "rm /usr/lib/libpri*" then just install libpri-1.4.10.2
as normal.
I then do a make clean in asterisk and make distclean ,then configure,
make and make install.

Asterisk/Machine Hang after calling in/out ISDN
I am testing Asterisk 1.4.22, zaptel 1.4.10.1 and libpri 1.4.4 on RHEL5
on DELL PE2950 and using ISDN-10.
I thought about cutting over to production tonight when I noticed a
serious problem.
SIP calls are fine but if I dialed to outside (Dial(Zap/g1)) a few times
or someone called in a few times, Asterisk just froze (cannot enter
anything on the CLI console) and then even the machine had to be

E1 PRI configuration: DAHDI and LIBPRI
Hi All;
I have an E1 card with two ports for ISDN PRI.
Do I need to install DAHDI in addition to LIBPRI?
For placing outside calls (outgoing) via the PRI, then in the extension.exe file, I will use the Dial function? But how can I determine that I need to use the PRI channels and not the analoge channels?
Last point: how can I know that asterisk is containing libpri? In other words, how can I

FCC/Euro/Aussie approvals on TE410P
I just got back from Boston where we completed testing of the TE410P for
FCC, Euro, and Australian approvals, and I'm happy to say we passed all
our approvals (including Q.921 and Q.931 layers, i.e. libpri as well as
surges) for both telco and leased line applications. Hopefully we'll have
the official documents soon, but I know there are a lot of you out there
that are happy to hear
