x windows setting up laptop external monitor at different resolution than LCD
I need to setup my laptop external monitor at 1366x768 while my LCD is only 1024x768. Is this done by dual head selections in the display configuration? How is that accomplished? Thanks, Jerry

Hi, I am running CentOS 5.2 on Acer laptop, I try to display laptop screen on a LCD TV via VGA cable. It was fine while PC was booting in text mode, but as soon as I started X Window, the LCD TV has error "Unsupported signal, adjust your PC out". I am trying to use the system-config-display utility to setup a laptop for dual-heal. I want my LCD to be 1024x768 and external VGA to be 1366x768. I presume the LCD will go virtual or something to match the 1366x768 which is fine. When I am setting up the dual head and click OK nothing happens??? On the console I have something about

uniden uip 200 phones lockup but rare - anyo ne seen this
I have several too and I also see this problem on occasion. Like you say, it is fairly rare and I can't pinpoint a cause or tell if it is a symptom of something else. I think I wrote to tech support about it but never heard anything. I'm wondering how long they will continue to support the phone. -Nate > -----Original Message----- > From: Jerry Geis
