Connections suddenly closing
Hi, I have been having a problem with OpenSSH which afaict has _never_ happened prior to upgrading to 3.0. (I always run the current release, so I'd been on 2.9.9[p2] prior to 3.0.) At a seemingly random time, I will lose my connection to the remote host, for example: Read from remote host crate.alongtheway.com: Connection reset by peer Granted, I am not sure that that was the error

Tasa variación diaria COVID-19
Eric ¿Que dataset utilizo? > # https://raw.githubusercontent.com/datasets/covid-19/master/data/time-series-19-covid-combined.csv > datos <- read.csv("C:/Users/HP/Downloads/time-series-19-covid-combined.csv") > > library(data.table) > library(ggplot2) >

I'm installing syslinux on an embedded board that will only be reachable via boat+hike or helicopter. This will be a somewhat experimental platform, so I can't make a read-only filesystem on CF. What I'd like is to have two root filesystems on a CF card, one that is a read-only "fail-safe", and a 2nd that is the "normal" system I experiment with. What I'm

Dovecot SASL Client support?
Hi all, I seem to recall mention of SASL client support either being added, but can't remember for sure. The wiki says nothing about Client support (now, or in the future)... http://wiki2.dovecot.org/Sasl So - is there support for it now? If not, is it planned for anytime soon? Thanks, -- Best regards, Charles

how to restore deleted directory/files
Hi, Thanks for your reply. The file system type is xfs. And I found xfsdump/xfsrestore can undo the remove. I use dd to copy the partition as one image file. How do I mount the image as read-only device? Then I can try to recover the deleted files/directory anytime. Thanks! Cypress USB driver emulation
Hi, I'm attempting to port an application which uses the Cypress CyAPI, which is Windows only, though I don't know if wine can handle device drivers or such low-level stuff. Anyway, I tried to develop a little prototype to run under wine, hoping it would provide with some insight. But this is the output I get: fixme:setupapi:SetupDiGetClassDevsW : returning empty list

Proxy server settings
Hello All, I'm sure this must be a fairly quick and easy configuration, but I have not been able to figure it out yet. How do you configure the proxy settings in the OS itself (not in a browser or other application) so that anytime the server tries to get out to the internet, that it can direct its traffic to go through a proxy server? I tried putting the proxy settings in .bash_profile
