R [coding : do not run for every row ]
Always keep the mailing list in cc.
The code runs for each row in the data. However I get the feeling that
there is a mismatch between what you think that is in the data and the
actual data.

R [coding : do not run for every row ]
Hi, i am sorry, the output should be values between 0 and 0.1 and not supposed to be 1.00, it is because they are type 1 error rate. And now i get output 1.00 for several samples, rhis is no correct. The loop do not run for every row. i do not know where is my mistake. As i use the same concept on normal distribution setup, i get the result.

Dear anonymous,
The big mistake in the output might be obvious to you but not to
others. Please make clear what the correct output should be or at
least what is wrong with the current output.
And please DO read the posting guide which asks you not to post in HTML.

scp with F-Secure SSH2
Hi!
I was browsing through archives and found out that somebody else was having
the same problem as I'm.
http://bugzilla.mindrot.org/show_bug.cgi?id=248
from the client, when I run scp to the server, I get:
scp: warning: Executing scp1 compatibility.
scp: FATAL: Executing ssh1 in compatibility mode failed (Check that scp1 is in
your PATH).
There are more details about this problem here:

scp1 issue
Hi.
I hope this is not entirely inappropriate, I have tried
comp.security.ssh but have not received any response, anyhow
I am wondering how scp1 really works, as far as I can tell it should be
quite straight forward, just send
version string
CMSG_SESSION_KEY
CMSG_USER
CMSG_AUTH_PASSWORD
CMSG_EXEC_CMD
And wait for SMSG_STDOUT_DATA until SMSG_EXITSTATUS.
I have read the scp.c code and and it more

Might want to allow different host keys for different ports on same host
Hi,
and here's the next feature request, which sounds interesting. Also I
think I won't need much extra code to add this feature. So what do you
guys think?

library for URL parameters adding, removing, or replacing?
i think PHP doesn''t have such simple functions yet... does Ruby have
it?
if in PHP, when we add a param to the URL
$redirectURL = $printPageURL . "?mode=1";
it works if $printPageURL is "http://www.somesite.com/print.php", but if
$printPageURL is changed in the global file to
"http://www.somesite.com/print.php?newUser=1", then the URL becomes
badly

forwarding features
While messing with various tunnels it occured to me that there may be
cases where some extra tunneling functionality would come in handy. I
thought I better run it past the list before trying to implement a
patch since the last 2 times I did this there was another way to
get the effect I wanted with no code changes...
Forwarding should not just be of AF_INET but (where available)

R [coding : do not run for every row ]
You can make this much more readable with apply functions.
result <- apply(
all_combine1,
1,
function(x){
p.value <- sapply(
seq_len(nSims),
function(sim){
gamma1 <- rgamma(x["m"], x["sp(skewness1.5)"], x["scp1"])
gamma2 <- rgamma(x["n"], x["scp1"], 1)
gamma1 <- gamma1 -

prng_cmds/init_rng() question/patch
I have a need to provide ssh client binaries for use elsewhere on
several platforms, some without /dev/random support. I can't assume
that users will know how to install/run prngd or egd, so I was
planning to rely on the builtin prng code. However this require the
ssh_prng_cmds file to exist in a fixed location -- which would mean
making binaries which either look for it in . or other

path to find ssh-rand-helper
Before I actually implement the small changes needed to allow the
location of ssh-rand-helper to be specified in the config file, I'd
like to check that in doing so I won't be opening up a huge security
hole.
My brief reading of the code suggests that in entropy.c:seed_rng() the
ssh-rand-helper is run as the original uid (for binaries which were
setuid in the first place of course), so I
