openssh unix dev - Mar 2004 - scp does not work

Hi, I got a word "HELLO" after I type scp file
server:. and nothing was transfered. There was also a
warning message: Executing scp1 compatibility. I am
running OpenSSH_3.6.1p1+CAN-2003-0693, SSH protocols
1.5/2.0, OpenSSL 0x0090702f in Mac OSX panther.

OpenSSH doesn't make that message.
