In testing, I have found that both MP3 and RealAudio 3(!) are much better sounding at bitrates from 8 to 40-something kbps than Ogg Vorbis. Hello R Pioneers, I sometimes use R on a dual CPU PC runing Linux and find that only 1 CPU is used even when no other user/process competes for resources.
