Unix Extensions + ext3 quotas + df
Hi,
Some time ago, I reported an issue (1) regarding to the "disk free"
to Quotas mapping when Unix Extensions are enabled.
The issue still persists in RHEL 5.3 (samba-3.0.33-3.7.el5).
In the meanwhile I have found a workaround via the attached *ugly*
patch, but an official solution would be appreciated.
Best regards,
Juanjo

We have a User model and a Connection model which basically represents

edges can have a :connection_type which is currently just a char(1).

Problems with Port Forwarding and Password auth
Secure FTP through SecureFX 1.8B3: issues (Using OpenSSH 2.1.1p2)
I downloaded the latest SecureFX because it now claims support for OpenSSH. I'm
like cool, now I'll finally be able to secure my ftp on my gateway.
First off, I really like the new configure. Everything went ok, I could ssh into
the box just fine. Unfortunately ftp didn't work work through SecureFX. I would

Plotting envelopes in spatstat
Hello,
Somehow I cannot control my envelope plots on Spatstat package. I would like
to plot an envelope with no legend and also I would like to label the plot
as such:
>plot(envelope(data, nsim=39, main="My K Plot", legend=FALSE,
xlab="Distance")
But somehow the "main", "legend" and "xlab" calls do not have any effect on
the plot. Can someone

Spatstat Tessellation error
Hello R Users,
I am trying to do a quadrat count defined by covariate properties in
spatstat. I have read my elevation raster into R (from ascii) and converted
to class "im" for use in spatstat.
Now I have point data of class "ppp" which window is the same extent as the
elevation image. I can conveniently plot the image and the points on the
image as follows:

This far, everything went well, but I try to simulate the fitted model using
the function:

But I get the error message:

Checking Goodness of Fit With Kolmogorov-Smirnov
Hi,
I'm using the power.law.fit function from the igraph package to fit a
power law distribution to some data. This function returns the power
law exponent as it's only result. I would like to have some sort of
goodness-of-fit and/or error estimate of the exponent returned. This
paper:
http://www.edpsciences.org/articles/epjb/pdf/2004/18/b04111.pdf
suggests using the

Interactive R, with wrapper
Hello team of R, We have a question about the interactivity of R in Windows,
We are implementing a wrapper in C# for displaying graphics generated by R
functions.
The application in C# communicates with R by standard input and standard
output. (when it is written "interactive()", the response is "FALSE")
The problem we have is when writing in the standard input

R-2.3 macosx segfault
Dear all,
this is my first message to this list. I hope it is not off topic
(and should have been posted to R-help for example).
I have R-2.3.0 installed on a couple of systems, including powermac
G5, iBook G4 (both with MacOSX 10.4.6), windows xp and linux (kubuntu
5.10). When trying to install package aroma from authors web site I
found that R for macosx crashes with segfault. This

Thanks Nux and Kristian but I don't see if these solutions will be really efective in my environment. Let me to explain.

Network isolation for KVM guests
Hi,
I don't see why this should not work with the given solutions. But I'm
relatively new to KVM / libvirt. Alternative:
Personally I use Shorewall (Shoreline FW) and bridge setups (also works
with a bonding interface). This way you can create zones, interfaces,
addresses, forwarding-rules etc and give per VM permission to let's say
only use a certain IP, only access certain

sshd doesn't log which RSA key was used
Hi guys,
and another feature request for sshd which I would classify as really
useful. And I think this behaviour is currently not available (If yes,
sorry, I must have missed it):
