I saw this config option, but I didn't realize that.
The issue also occurs with 4.3. I even tried 4.3-rc1 with the same results.
Would the DRM_FBDEV_EMULATION effect 3D?

I suspect the fb0 issue is because you disabled
CONFIG_DRM_FBDEV_EMULATION? Does the freeze also happen with 4.3? Any
chance you could bisect?

dovecot and ntlm_auth through winbind
Hi all,
I am upgrading a dovecot 1.2 installation to a 2.2 installation and
have found and fixed a number of problems..
I've seen several postings in the archive about ntlm_auth not working,
and it is true, there are several regressions in dovecot here.
The first and simplest is that the enablement instructions in the
wikki are wrong. ntlm_auth must be called as root, which is what 1.2
did.

Hi,
Few subjects cause as many arguments as "which SIP client works best?"
on IRC #asterisk, voip forums, and probably the -users mailing list. I
have tried most of the SIP clients available in the last 5 years, both
with Asterisk and other platforms such as OnSIP.com, IConnectHere.com,
ZipDX.com and the venerable old FWD (in the days when that almost
worked). Speaking of ZipDX, we

linux v4.4.0 nouveau fails
Please keep me in the CC. I am not subscribed to this list.
When booting 4.4.0 on one of my systems, when nouveau loads, the screen goes
into powersave. It doesn't appear to register the fb0 device.
When X starts up, the screen comes back and I'm able to login. When
launching anything that accesses 3D, the screen freezes. Nothing is logged
in either X or dmesg.
This same system works

happens. It also appears that somewhere in steps 1 and 2 above Word sends
a request to turn off the read, write, and execute bits for the owner of the
file. When you look at this filesystem after the attempted save the
original file does indeed have these bits cleared (i.e. the user has no
read, write,or execute permissions on the file), and that I think is why
the error is being generated.

Debian package for R-0.61 uploaded
I have uploaded a Debian package r-base_0.61.0-2_i386.deb to the
incoming directory at ftp.ci.tuwien.ac.at. This package is built
against libc5, not libc6. Turns out that was a bit more complicated
than I had hoped.
I have also created an RPM file for the same binary distribution and
will upload that shortly as r-base-0.61.0-2.i386.rpm. I enclose some
information regarding the two packaged

blur/diffuse option
is it possible to make the "decorator" plugin have a blur/diffuse
option, like in vista's transparent deco's. Would be cool to mimic
vista's gui with compiz :)

scaler plugin fixes
Hi
I think this is mostly a question of preference for my part, but I
think it would give an overall better quality feel. What I'm talking
about is mostly the movement it uses. As I've come to understand, it
uses velocity and direction, and a target point. This means that it
updates it velocity and direction every X seconds (timestep), and
gives it the possibility to be

movement backend
Hi
I'm just wondering what the status is on the new movement
architecture that I think David mentioned a few months ago. The point
was to get more predictable and accurate movement in the plugins.
Since the current method recomputes speed and direction every
"timestep". So the movemnt is actually computed on the fly, instead
of having a predetermined path which is
