leaving ports open for tftp
hey guys,
I have a really silly question for you! I just built a cobbler server that I am using to bare metal some boxes. But I am a bit n00b and need to figure out which ports to open in iptables.
Here's a start:
xinetd 2031 root 8u IPv4 94306 UDP *:tftp
in.tftpd 9203 root cwd DIR 253,0 4096 588097 /tftpboot

deliver stopped working
Hi:
I have been using Dovecot for well over a year now and it has always worked with few
problems. The mail setup is not simple...
Postfix+MailScanner+ClamAV+Docvecot+MySql+postfix.admin... just to mention the major
things. The system is CentOS 5.3 on VMware. The maildir is on an NFS share, index and
control is local.
About a month ago I thought I upgraded from 1.1.x to 1.2.x. by doing an

defining columns in a matrix
Hi all,
I have the following 7 x 7 matrix. ?I am trying to figure out how to
label the columns to something more descriptive other than [,1], [,2],
etc.
I have tried the c(x,y,z,) function, but I get a error returned
stating that my vectors need to be the same length. Do I need to
convert this to something else such as a list and then repack it?
Thanks,
Kindra

LCR in Asterisk

I am planning to implement LCR routing on my already running asterisk
server. Uptill now i have found out that asterisk has no support for lcr, i
have to do something about it myself, for example using the AGI. Im looking
for ideas here. Whats the best way to start implementing lcr in asterisk.
Should i use agi and start implementing my own lcr script or is there any
plugin available which

Questions about the upcoming Object Storage Plugin for 2.2
Hi Timo,
I'm curious and have questions about the new Object Storage Plugin
(OSP), and how it can be leveraged by an SMB like us.
First, am I reading this right where it could be used as a kind of
'live/realtime backup' solution, where everything is stored *both*
locally and in the cloud, with two-way syncing, ie, so local users could
access the local server for faster access,

I've installed spandsp-0.0.1k on a RHv9 box with CVS-HEAD-09/19/04 and

Issue with timeout option?
I have a project g4l that uses syslinux and have been working on the next
version. I installed the 3.74 pre5, and it worked just fine. But I was doing a
test, and booted the systems, and usually pick the default kerenel or one of
the other kernels on the CD before it times out with 60 seconds. But this
time, I didn't do that. It loaded the default kernel with no problem, but then

Weird problem: cannot see files...
I've been trying to setup a samba server on my computer so that the
other Windows computers on my network can access the files on it. I'm
running version 3.0.20 of sambe that came stock with Slackware 10.2.
I've gotten it up and running with this simple smb.conf:
[global]
workgroup = Mshome
security = share
[downloads]
path = /mnt/wind/downloads

OpenStack output - server_id
Hi,
I've read the virt-v2v OpenStack output code to understand how it works and
I've seen this:
