Usin ISO Linux & Memdisk to create a Viritual Floppydrive that Linux & Windows can load driver disk from.
With windows, if your "virtual" floppy is drive B:, then windows will treat it specially. It will basically copy the contents into memory from real mode using int13h, knowing that it will not be able to access the device after it switches to protected mode. I asked a few days ago about support for making a memdisk image behave as drive B:, but got no answer. :-( We have our

[LLVMdev] Requiring LiveIntervals
One of my pass requires LiveIntervals to build the interference graph, because LiveVariables do not provide an interface to iterate through all viritual registers. But LiveIntervalAnalysis.h is not in "include/llvm/CodeGen", so I have to either include it by: #include "../../llvm/lib/CodeGen/LiveIntervalAnalysis.h" or point my project include path to

Memdisk large IMA file
Does someone know where I could get my hands on an ima that's larger than 2.88meg... I use winimage for all my ima's and stuff but i'm having trouble configuring a custom size. If anyone has a large ima I could utilize that would be great, preferably one fitting this memdisk supported size: 3,932,160 bytes (3840K) c=80 h=2 s=48 3.5" DSED (extended) If not instructions on making

Ok, you could add a method to LiveVariables that returns VirtRegInfo.size(). The virtual registers are defined by the range: [MRegisterInfo::FirstVirtualRegister,

USB Thumbdrive + dos ghost boot image + drive too small = confusion
I will really hate myself if this has already been solved, i searched the archives but didn't really find anything pertaining to it. I have a 2.88mb dos boot floppy image, with ghost.exe, dos nic drivers, and dos system files. It works fine when burnt to a cd. As for the thumbdrive when trying to configure this hpghost.ima file to run from my syslinux.cfg menu, it works and boots up fine but

menu.c32 - Just loads the menu.c32 over and over.
Hi, I am trying to use the Simple Menu system for SYSLINUX/ISOLINUX, but it fails to work. The menu apper, I can select menu entries, but pressing "ENTER" just takes me back to start. It seem like menu.c32 just reloads. Pressing Space does almost the same, exept the selected item is the one on the bottom instead of the top. By pressing ESC and getting back to command line, I am able

OFF TOPIC: Chainloading CD-ROM boot after ISOLINUX + MEMDISK.
Hi, This is off topic for this list, but someone on this list may be able to point me in the right direction. For a couple of years I have been using ISOLINUX + MEMDISK and Smart Boot Manager to chainload a CD-ROM boot after loading a floppy image into RAM with MEMDISK. My problem now is that Smart Boot Manager does not support/detect SATA optical drives used in new hardware. Does anyonw

help usin scan on large matrix (caveats to what has been discussed before)
Dear all, I have a few points that I am unsure about using scan. I know that it is covered in the intro to R, and also has been discussed here: http://www.mail-archive.com/r-help at r-project.org/msg04869.html but nevertheless, I cannot get it to work. I have a potentially very large matrix that I need to read in (35MB). I am about to run it on a server with 16G of memory etc, so I hope it
