SV: usernames with capitals
--NoDisclaim-- I cant use an editor to mass update and change usernames as this is a part of an automatic useradd routine written in an ancient legacy application which calls useradd and usermod, we have been using this software for more than 15 years, so its hard for me to argue for a rewrite, so im forced to bend the OS instead it isnt a problem on redhat 8.0, so somewhere in the patches for

python-interactive for CentOS/EL 4
Hi all, Could anyone point me in the right direction for a package that provides the 'interactive' module for Python? I need to do some SSH stuff in Python so I grabbed python-paramiko from RPMForge (as always, thanks Dag & co.). Paramiko appears to be dependent on python-crypto but the RPM doesn't require it.. problem with all capitals 8.3 filenames
Dear list, After having upgraded from Samba-2.2.8a to Samba-3.0.4 I have problems getting "short preserve case = Yes" to work properly for filenames having only capital letters when seen from NT-4.0 explorer. A mixture of lettercase filenames and all lowercase work fine. What I see is the following: UNIX: Windows-NT: --------

Selective Sendmail Relaying.
Hi all, I've been trying to hit on the right configuration combo to allow relaying from specific users and/or domains to an internal box running Sendmail. Capital letters in usernames
