PXELinux can't load the config file?
Hi, I am working on a cluster of PCs, and I want to boot them from an SGI IRIX machine. The PCs use Supermicro XEON MB, with dual GigE built in. They have Intel Boot Agent GE v 1.1.09 and PXE 2.1 (083). I have DHCP and TFTP on the IRIX machine, pxelinux.0 loads, but it can't load the configuration file? tftp on the host tries to send the file, but data transfers do not receive ACKs. I got

Hi Josef, I have included the hex dump, I hope it will help to pinpoint the problem. multiple IOxAPIC on 4.7 with Intel P64H2
I have a multi-port PCI-X card that is causing me some grief. An older version of the system bios allowed this to work correctly, and the on-board devices to work correctly. the newer system bios has fixed a 'bug' where the interrupts were routed incorrectly according to the PCI bridge specification. The system vendor indicates that I am likely missing the support for multiple IOxAPIC,

cisco 7940 firmware upgrade
I have been trying for sometime to upgrade this phone to either sip, or the latest sccp (at this point I don't care) with no success. It has an sccp image (don't know the version off the top of my head) that is incompatible with chan_sccp. When I boot up the phone, it asks the tfpt server for the .tlv file, then the SEP<mac> file which it receives successfully. It then asks for

PXELinux Q(s) :)
Real quick background on what I'm doing now, and what I'm trying to do: We are using PXELinux with VA's SystemImager software to image new servers over our network. It's been working beautifully since the fall of 2000 using a 2.2 kernel. (Long and short: we bootstrap with PXE, use the initrd as the root file system, partition, mount and rsync the new drive, reconfigure, lilo

Order of terms in formula changes aov() results
Hello, This one is very perplexing. I have teacher observation data, with factors teacher ID, observer ID, component, grade and subject. When I do this, aov(data=ratings.prin.22, rating ~ obsid.f + tid.f + subject.f + grade.f + comp.f) I get this: Terms: obsid.f tid.f grade.f comp.f Residuals Sum of Squares 306.23399 221.38173 1.70000 14.52831 279.05780 Deg. of

PXELinux sporadic hangs searching for config file
Very sporadicially (1 out of every 40-5000 boots), our blade system will hang indefinately while PXE Linux is attempting to locate it's configuration file. This is causing our automated testing to hang and generate failures. I have put more details below. My concerns are threefold: 1) System hangs 2) PXE Linux bootstrap never seems to retry the transaction 3) PXE Linux bootstrap never seems

Special Meetme
Hi all, I want to setup a meetme application in the following maner: One operator is connected to a room. The operator hears and can talk to all the participants, but one participant can only hear/talk to the operator, not others. The operator is using one phone. To be more explicit, this means that every new person etering the room has a one2one conversation with the operator only, and the

I installed tfpt-hpa
Hi... I''m interested to find out how many people are running tftp-hpa versus atftpd. I''m almost a bit surprised in how many people seem to be using tftp-hpa; for modern Unix systems (including Linux), I would in general assume atftpd to be a better choice. If you have tried both and specifically chosen (as opposed to "it was already installed", etc.) I''d

Hello, I have the following problem. I am migrating my asterisk infrastructure to a new server and I encounter a strange problem. The configuration is as followin: IAX clients connect to asterisk which forward calls to a sip box connected to a phone line. On the old server everything works ok but on the new server, even if the logs are identical it seems like the dtmf number does not get passed
