Hi all, I want to setup a meetme application in the following maner: One operator is connected to a room. The operator hears and can talk to all the participants, but one participant can only hear/talk to the operator, not others. The operator is using one phone. To be more explicit, this means that every new person etering the room has a one2one conversation with the operator only, and the operator talks with all the participants in the same time, a participant hears only the operator. Do you have any ideeas how can i do this? Thank you. Felly -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... This can be done. Read the wiki on how to do this. http://www.voip-info.org/tiki-index.php?page=Asterisk+cmd+MeetMe Matthew ----- Original Message ----- From: "tehnic intertel" <tehnic@intertel.ro> To: <asterisk-users@lists.digium.com> Sent: Tuesday, October 05, 2004 3:26 AM Subject: [Asterisk-Users] Special Meetme Hi all, I want to setup a meetme application in the following maner: One operator is connected to a room. The operator will be overwhelmed with people chattering in her/his ear, and it would also confuse the callers when the operator is talking to someone else. How about something like this? I think it could be (fairly) easily done with a combination of queues, AGI, and meetme, all unmodified. 1. Someone calls the conference number, they're placed in a queue to speak with the operator(s). 2. Operator takes the call, has a one-on-one with them, and then places them into a meetme conference, probably using the manager interface. The caller can listen only, not speak. 3. The operator has the ability to place someone else (a moderator / speaker) into the conference in speak mode. 4. The operator has the ability to speak to all conferees.
