RAID level and killing a job
First question - under CentOS 5, if I created non LVM partitions on a server with 6 disks - 2 disks are RAID 1 (OS), how do I remind myself or inquire the type of RAID of the remaining 4 disks (RAID 1 or RAID 5), without having to reboot? Second question - A newly installed server consisting of CentOS 5.2, straight off the DVD, I invoke a command by hand, realize I want to kill it soon after

Restarting dovecot-auth stops authentication
Hi, The Dovecot wiki states that Dovecot's master restarts all died processes, which is good for availability. But when I kill dovecot/auth (to simulate an error condition which happened on a machine), the authentication fails with: Nov 16 14:32:40 be dovecot: imap: Error: net_connect_unix(auth-master) failed: No such file or directory It seems -albeit it gets restarted- dovecot/auth

windows xp domU consuming 200% cpu (dom0 is quad-core) at idle
What have I done wrong? I installed an xp (service pack 2) domU using the virt-install example from the man page, on a zfs volume. Nut-upsdev Digest, Vol 206, Issue 5
It seems the `libmodbus` library or headers were not found, or something similar - so the driver against it was not built. Did you install `libmodbus-dev` before the build? What does `config.log` in the build root say (and.or the summary shown after you run the `configure` script)? Login by AMI ok, by AJAM fails
I have setup an Ast 11.6 host and I want to login via AJAM. I setup manager.conf, http.conf described in the docs. When I login via the AMI it works fine (see below), but when I login via AJAM the same credentials fail (see further down) Can someone tell me how to fix this? ----------- Connection closed by foreign host. root at pbx:/tmp# telnet localhost 5038 Trying 127.0.0.1... Hello there, I don't think that's working,? I have done all your repo but i don't know how it's supposed to work. I have a idea, change vendor id and product id? to make the driver try to connect to the ups, what do you think of that ? Samba-4.11 AD DC provisioning fails
I decided to restart the provisioning process. I stopped the samba_server, deleted /usr/local/etc/smb4.conf and /var/db/samba4. I then decided to do an interactive provisioning and this is the result: [root at smb4-1 ~ (master)]# ll /var/samba4 ; ll /usr/local/etc/smb4.conf ls: /var/samba4: No such file or directory ls: /usr/local/etc/smb4.conf: No such file or directory [root at smb4-1 ~

Re: Does virsh actually work?
Try creating a blank file on the target system at /mnt/store01/virt/e7f75b9b-9ed4-4f7e-aa86-e481ab911d6f.qcow2 on 'dewey'. Migrations really don't go well when the target disk doesn't exist. I'm not certain why this is, I think the migration feature was mainly built with shared storage in mind. On 9/3/2014 3:05 PM, Gary Hook wrote: > I have been beating my head against
