Hi all,
We are running "dovecot-1.0.7-7.el5" on a CentOS release 5.5 (Final)

Is there a way to import the certificate, which was generated with
"mkcert_dovecot.sh", permanently to the outlook 2003 clients?
Every time, when our office 2003 clients fetches there emails (POP3s)

Vacation - out of office
Hi all,
is it possible to install/activate a "out of office" messages for each
user in dovecot?
I've read about the Sieve scripts, but can't find a howto to install it
on your dovecot 1.0.7 installation.

With v1.1 it's possible to include other Sieve scripts in your script

an e-mail client for dovecot ?
Hello all,
For some years now, I've been using Thunderbird for dovecot.
I am not very satisfied with t/b so I thought of using m/s outlook
but then I thought that I want to distance my clients from office
products.
I have a newly created dovecot installation on a very small site.
Three nodes, all x86 Windows 7 professional with an ubuntu v14.04
server (x86 again) running dovecot 1.2.17.

Heh, I guess I've used good passwords in my installs then.

Another Fedora decision
So, probably some of you, at least, follow Fedora, perhaps in part to see
what new desktop user oriented decision will make it into the next version
of RHEL/CentOS.
You may have noticed how if Fedora, by some odd scheme, deems your password
unworthy, you have to click Done two times.
So, the latest Ananconda takes this one step further. Passwords that the
system considers weak will no longer

least sucky FXO interface?
Would anyone care to offer opinions as to the FXO interface which sucks
the least :) I have an application in which it appears I must route
certain calls out an analog PSTN line. Presently, I am testing an
SPA-3000, but I can't seem to get the echo heard on the IP end of the
call down to a non-annoying level.
Any suggestions welcomed :)

Currently the typical rejection message is:

Your message was automatically rejected by Dovecot Mail Delivery Agent.
The following reason was given:
Quota exceeded.

Then there is MDN + message headers in other MIME parts. But of course
there sucky clients that can't display MDNs and users get confused.
Any suggestions how to improve this message? I'm not sure if the

Outlook 2003 marks email for deletion
Hi,
Im running Dovecot 1.1RC1 (only IMAP).
I noticed that when I connect with Outlook 2003; and I start reading new
email some mails get marked (completely random) for deletion (,S -> ,ST)
??
I can set this mail to unread, undo the deletion read it again and it
will stay OK. But other emails will still get marked.
This only seems to happen with Outlook 2003 not with Outlook Express

ActionMailer e-mails getting tagged as junk in Outlook 2003
Whenever an email is sent via ActionMailer, and the recipient is using
Outlook 2003 (with SP2 installed), the e-mail is getting put in the junk
e-mail folder. Since Outlook doesn''t give a reason it was tagged as
junk, it''s hard to determine what to change.
I''ve compared the message headers of the "junk" mail and a valid email
sent through Outlook, and the

You already showed yourself unworthy of getting help from people here. In
fact, you are soooo smart that I don't even understand why you came here
in the first place...
Why don't you just go and consult yourself about your problems?
