[Samba] samba 2.2.3a on SCO OpenServer5.0.5
Hi there, samba drives me crasy :) following problem: 1 Sambaserver (V2.2.1) running on RedHat 7.0 -------------------------------------------- smb.conf: [global] workgroup = RIGL server string = Samba Server riglEDV load printers = yes printcap name = /etc/printcap printing = bsd ;guest account = pcguest log file = /usr/local/samba/var/log.%m max log size = 50 security = user encrypt passwords = yes ;include = /usr/local/samba/lib/smb.conf.%m socket options = TCP_NODELAY ;interfaces = 192.168.1.1/24 local master = yes os level = 33 domain master = yes ;preferred master = yes ;domain logons = yes ;logon script = %m.bat ;logon script = %U.bat ;logon path = \\%L\Profiles\%U ;wins support = yes [homes] comment = Home Directories browseable = no writable = yes another Sambaserver (V2.2.3a) running on SCO OpenServer 5.0.5 ------------------------------------------------------------- smb.conf: # Samba config file created using SWAT # from pc24 (192.70.164.24) # Date: 2002/01/17 10:00:12 # Global parameters [global] #workgroup = DEFAULTWG workgroup = RIGL netbios name = COMPAQ server string = Samba Server log file = /usr/local/samba/var/log.%m max log size = 50 security = user encrypt passwords = yes socket options = TCP_NODELAY os level = 64 #preferred master = Yes preferred master = No local master = No domain master = No dns proxy = No wins support = Yes #socket address = 192.70.164.1 socket address = 192.168.1.5 [homes] comment = Home Directories path = /home/%u browseable = no writable = yes Now, there are also 2 Clients in my Network Win2K Win98 The Win2K-clients can connect to each Samba-Server (net use x: \\192.168.1.1\rigl --> LINUX-Server/Samba-2.2.1) (net use x: \\192.168.1.5\rigl --> OSR5-Server/Samba-2.2.3a) BUT, the Win98-Client can only connect to the LINUX-Samba-Server, when I try to connect to the OSR5-Samba-Server, I got the error-messages:53 Any ideas ?
