Soft limit quota
I'm using dovecot on our new mail server and it is pretty good. But I have a problem regarding quota limits, I am using quota plugin on imap, pop3 and LDA, the deliver agent blocks new messages for delivery, like hard quota. I'd like to use LDA with quota plugin regarding soft quota. Thanks for any clues, -- Philipe Gaspar Universidade Salvador Fone:+55 (71) 3273-8592

quota_rule beeing ignored and set to system soft! quota
Hi, originating from the same Problem Edgar Fu? described here [1] about "Zero-sized Maildir files and index corruption on over-quota" i setup quota = fs:user quotas with a quota_rule set to 1.5G to prevent getting those zero sized mail files. What happens now is that when the user is over system soft quota (1G) mails stop beeing delivered. Jun 16 19:05:45 mail dovecot:

soft quota lda question
hi all, i'm using dovecot deliver (lda) and i want to show quota to the users via imap/pop3, but i don't want to enforce it (i.e. don't reject/bounce mails when quota is exceeded). protocol imap { mail_plugins = quota imap_quota } protocol pop3 { mail_plugins = quota } # In case you're using deliver: protocol lda { #mail_plugins = quota } does it work if i just

Problems with the fs-quota plugin on delivery stage
Hi All! Just noticed a strange behavior of the FS quota plugin on delivery stage. We use group FS quotas via NFS. And quota-tool says: --- Disk quotas for group #5751796 (gid 5751796): Filesystem blocks quota limit grace nfse:/export 1276 10240 10240 --- I run: --- cat ./test.eml | /usr/local/libexec/dovecot/deliver -e -n -d xxxx at xxxxx.xxxx --- and get: --- Quota

deliver + quota failure
I use Dovecot's deliver as the LDA for Postfix in a virtual user setting. My maillog reads: Oct 22 00:17:51 mail dovecot: auth(default): master in: USER 1 mark.ruys at in2sports.net service=deliver Oct 22 00:17:51 mail dovecot: auth-worker(default): sql(mark.ruys at in2sports.net): SELECT maildir AS home, 5000 AS uid, 5000 AS gid, CONCAT('dirsize:storage=', round(quota/1000))

lda/sieve ignores quota from ldap
Hello, I'm using Dovecot 2.0 with Sieve as MDA and Postfix as MTA. The Postfix delivery command is /usr/lib/dovecot/dovecot-lda -f "$SENDER" -a "$RECIPIENT". I have set a default quota with quota_rule = *:storage=1G. Some users should have a larger quota. This is defined in a ldap directory and I have set user_attrs =

v.1.2.4 deliver maildir quota does not work
Hi, I'm using deliver for storing new mails (nfs). Since v.1.2 deliver does not reject mails if over quota (maildir quota). test with v. 1.1.18: # HOME=/tmp/maildir/ /path/dovecot-1.1.18/libexec/dovecot/deliver -e -c /path/dovecot-1.1.18/etc/dovecot.conf # Quota exceeded (mailbox for user is full) test with v. 1.2.4: # HOME=/tmp/maildir/ /path/dovecot-1.2.4/libexec/dovecot/deliver -e -c

Dovecot 1.0.3: LDA + quota plugin
I have problem with quota limit settings for "deliver" - global plugin settings overrides userdb quota setting !!! imap and pop3 works fine. Quota limit for user is set to "quota=maildir:ignore=Kosz:storage=512". And "maildirsize" file in user's mail_location contains "524288S" line - good. But when I set: ---------------- plugin { quota =

Deliver and file system quota
Hi, what is the quota plugin for deliver supposed to do when using fs quota? With IMAP, and not using noenforcing, a user that is over Soft limit can't copy mails. With deliver, the mail is delivered normally. When hard limit is exceeded, there is an error "rejected: Not enough disk space", just like when I don't use the plugin in lda. Even the lda setting

Quota plugin problem
Hi, I'm using dovecot beta3 on a debian sarge (unstable debs backported). I have successfully managed to make dovecot-lda to work but enabling modules it seems not to work and gives me strange error messages. Dovecot LDA, quota, sieve
Hi, While moving services to a new server, I finally decided to switch from exim + procmail delivery to exim + dovecot-LDA (dovecot 1.2.5). All accounts are virtual - their settings are stored in mysql. This also includes configuring Quota and Sieve. So... there come some doubts: 1. Using "deliver" As I see, deliver uses auth-master socket to retrieve the mailbox settings

dovecot 1.1alpha6 deliver+quota bugs
I was playing around with dovecot-1.1 and maildir++ quotas, and ran into a reproducible error with indexing. This only seems to be a problem for new maildirs. If I send a message without the quota plugin on, and "seed" the index/control files, future deliveries with the quota plugin seem to succeed without errors. NFS quota: hard or soft
Yes. I could spend more time testing this myself or examining the code. It looks to me that, with fs quota, dovecot refuses to store a mail (e.g. when the client moves a mail from one IMAP folder to another) if the user is beyond his soft limit. Is this correct/intended? Knowing nothing about the IMAP Quota extension, I would have expected that being in grace was OK. At least, this is what

Dovecot as a (quota) policy server for Postfix
Hi guys, I'm currently experimenting with Postfix, Dovecot and OpenLDAP to setup a mail server hosting virtual users. The standard stuff works fine so far. The only thing that doesn't work as I'd like it to do is Quota. Currently, Dovecot handles/enforces quota through the deliver LDA. When Postfix tries to deliver a mail to a mailbox that is over quota, the deliver LDA bounces the
