Hi! Since I switched from SuSE to Gentoo (before Novell era :-) I wrote a simple ebuild script for building wxruby on Gentoo. Few notes: a) in order to work, wxruby-0.1.0.tgz should contain wxruby-0.1.0 folder since it is a Gentoo policy and I hope it''s not a problem to change that for 0.2.0 b) I assumed that one needs Ruby >= 1.8.0 and wx >= 2.4.1. Hi there! This HOWTO is outdated: http://nouveau.freedesktop.org/wiki/GentooEbuilds x11-base/nouveau-drm from the x11 overlay asks for the 3.2 version of kernel, but the latest version is 3.1.5. This advice is also wrong: "These ebuilds do not have any keyword, as it is usual with cvs/svn/git releases. To be able to install them, you have to mark them with ** in package.keywords."

Hey guys, Wondering if anyone has tried to do this before - a last login timestamp field. Using mysql for auth, I figured it would be easy enough to add a timestamp field and then tack an UPDATE statement on the end of the password_query. But of course, dovecot sees this as only one statement to pass to MySQL - of which MySQL barfs at.. Any ideas on how to achieve this ? Regards

Hello, I use Gentoo and I can't get R 2.0.1 to compile. I used the portage system, Gentoo's source package sytem, and after it uncompresses the source to R, it says that I don't have a fortran compiler. It told me to use f77 flag and re-emerge gcc, which I did with the f77 and fortran flags, but it still won't compile. Does anyone have any ideas? I suspect that gcc has changed

Sip to sip calls are fine, both local on Asterisk and over a SIP gateway, however some people who call on the PSTN line say we are very queit and vice versa, can the volume be turned up on the PSTN line? The volume buttons on the VoIP phones only turns up the others voice, so this is a fix for us, but how do I make our voices louder for the people on the PSTN line? Thanks. Paul.

Has anyone had any luck doing this by interfacing Asterisk to the WAN using 1:1 NAT translation to give it a public IP while still firewalled?
