[Fwd: Re: [Evolution] evo confused when searching message bodies on large folders?]
Is this possibly a problem with dovecot 0.99.10.9?
Maybe it's been fixed in a later release?
Might it be a security issue?
Thanks!

C6.7 evolution to cyrus imap(s) fails
Hi
I have been using evolution/cyrus/exim for 10 years - until yesterday!
I upgraded to C6.7 and now there is no way I can find of connecting

cyrus 27768 1 0 15:21 ? 00:00:00
/usr/lib/cyrus-imapd/cyrus-master -d
cyrus 27775 27768 0 15:21 ? 00:00:00 imapd -s

Evolution in CentOS 5.2
(Probably OT)
Has anyone else noticed these flaky (new?) behaviors in Evo since the
5.2 upgrade:
- REALLY slow saving messages from inbox to another folder
- search capability separated by folder instead of overall (with no
option for control)
- failure to autocomplete email addresses for known contacts
I think that's it. I was wondering if it was just me, or if others
had noticed this.

CentOS 5 Evolution Update errors.
Folks,
Evo update on my 4.x worked just fine. 5.0 generated a bunch of parsing
errors preceded and followed by a couple of I/O errors that appear
related to an unavailable URL.
I first figured corruption on my node, so I yum erased evo, its -
connector and -webcal units. The data-server removal looked as if it
might remove half my Gnome desktop, so I left it in place.
Then I did a selective

Evolution & HTML
I've noticed several HTML emails that evo says are unknown attachments
with a blank page on message display. Selecting Edit as New Message
results in seeing the email in the composer. Anyone seeing this? CentOS

evolution and received by header
Evolution has a nice feature where it can sort messages by the most
recent received-by date, instead of the Date: header.
This is nice, because then if something gets stuck on a server somewhere
in the world for a couple of days, it shows up at the end of your mail
list, instead of way back where you might miss it.
However, when using dovecot with evo, if I sort of received by instead
of date,

how can i log everything?
hi,
it''d be very useful to add some kind of "log everything" option to
shorewall. currently the logging is useful if you know what you would
like to log. but if you don''t know than it''s a problem...
another problem that currently it''s not possible to log the nat table.
at least i can''t find any way (can''t add logging into masq and

a few more notes
hi,
while all files is owned by nsd user and nsd run as nsd the nsd.db is
still owned by root user (because the compiler run as root and create
this file as root, ok i know just it'd be better if this file is owned
by nsd too).
another strange thing is that on the slave nsd i've got such messages:

SNAT is less expensive than MASQ
hi,
in the masq file''s documentation, there is a sentence:
"If you have a static IP on that interface, listing it here makes
processing of output packets a little less expensive for the firewall."
this realy means that SNAT to the primary address is less expensive than
a MASQ rules in the netfilter? is this documented anywhere in
iptables/netfilter?
thanks.

don't use centos 7 as a developer workstation
Hi,
May be it's not clear to everyone.. so this's just a quick notice to
everyone.
Don't use CentOS 7 as a developer workstation since currently there is
not included any developer IDE. As eclipse was pulled out from the main
distro and put into Red Hat Developer Toolset (which is imho a good idea
not to use a 7 years old IDE). But Red Hat Developer Toolset is still
not supported on

hi,
we've a few 10-20 server in a lan each has 4-8 hdd. we'd like to create

it in a redundant way ie:
- if one (or more) of the hdd or server fails the whole filesystem still
usable and consistent.
- any server in this farm can see the same storage/filesystem.
it's someting a big network raid5-6... storage where
