R for Computational Neuroscience?
Hi all,
I've noticed that many computational neuroscience research groups use
MATLAB. While it's possible that MATLAB may have some features
unavailable in R, I suspect that this may instead simply be a case of
costly tradition, where researchers were taught MATLAB as students and
pay for it as researchers because it's all they know.
I'd like to attempt to break the cycle by

> permutations(n=3, r=3, v=x, repeats.allowed=TRUE)

librerias
Muchas gracias. Un saludo

prediction problem
Hello,
I am using the mda package and in particular the fda routine to
classify/predict in terms of color to a set of 20 samples for which i don?t
know the color.
I preformed a flexible discriminant analysis (FDA) using a set of 147
samples for which i know all the information.
My script and data follow in attachment.
A total of 23 predictors were considered. 20 of the predictors are

x^2 + y^2 = 1
y = sin x
Si me van surgiendo dudas, aquí estaré, no lo dudéis.

Hola Miguel,
> x <- c('rojo', 'azul', 'verde')
> #Utilizar la función "permutations()"

Encontrar datos en un data.farame
Buenas,
Tengo dos data.frame
DF1
color numero
verde 2
rojo 4
azul 3
y DF2

rojo
rojo
azul

LDAP auth/az for Rails
All:
I recently wrote an LDAP library for Ruby called Net::LDAP, and I''ve
noticed that quite a few people are using it to do authentication and
authorization for Rails apps. I know there are several well-done login
generators for Rails, but what about people that would rather use a
directory?
If we were to write a generator for Rails that used LDAP (or A/D) as the
backend, would

Re: installing R packages --> for Pablo E. Verde
First time on this mailing list.
Try with Guido's rw0630 release. I have it running under Windows 98 and
by now I haven't experienced any problems with dynamic loading.
Second remark.

Warning: Data set `cat' not found

All data sets in MASS library as in boot one are NOT R source files but
R images. I think this is the reason why you (and me

Distribución log-logistica
Hola a tod@s,

read.csv("datos.csv",skip=30)
Gracias
Jesús
